"I'll go too, goodnight you two."
Ashton stood up, gave us both a small smile and left the room in the middle of the night.
He was the last one who left, first Luke and then Calum.
"Night, Ash."
"Goodnight, mate."
We sat in silence a little bit longer, just enjoying each others company.
Now that Ashton left I realised that there was quite some space between my best friend and me, Ashton sat inbetween us earlier.
"Come here", Michael said, reaching with his hands for me.
"Why should I move if you can just come here?"
"Because."
"That's not very convincing."
"This is the better side of the couch."
I raised my eyebrows, clearly not believing him.
"It's way more comfortable!"
"Still not convinced."
"And I'm here and you love me and you'll do everything for me?" he asked with a lovely voice.
"I do not."
"Yes, you do."
"No, I don't."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes. Now come cuddle, I'm cold."
I sighed as I finally gave in and stood up just to sit down again next to the red haired boy.
He giggled, slightly happy that he got what he wanted, and instantly wrapped his arms around me pulling me closer to him.
"You know, normally I'm way more of a keeping-a-save-distance kind of person. I hug people I really like but I don't really cuddle and I like my personal space."
"But you don't have a problem with me invading your personal space?"
"Nah."
"That's good." He smiled at me as I cuddled closer to him.
"How have you been doing lately?" he suddenly asked out of nowhere.
"Fine."
"You're sure?"
"Yeah, I think, things got better... well, mostly."
"What do you mean?"
"I don't want to annoy you with my problems."
"You could never annoy me, Adley."
"I just... I don't want you to worry or something, it's fine, really."
"You can tell me everything, I know that something is bothering you."
"Well, I had some problems with nightmares but that got way better when we started chatting until I barely had them anymore, but I think they kind of got back... and I was scrolling through Twitter earlier, when you all were playing FIFA..."
He sighed. "I'm so sorry, Adley, I didn't think that all through."
"It's fine, it's not your fault."
"I know that it's easier to just notice the mean comments, but there are some really nice ones too, you know?"
"I know, but it's like you said, the mean ones just stand out more."
He sighed again. "I'll see if there is anything I can do about that, okay?"
"It's fine, Mikey, really."
