How did your job interview go yesterday?

Adley:
I actually didn't even want to go but Aiden made me go

Adley:
And I think it went fine, they said they'll call within this week

Michael:
I really hope you get the job

Adley:
Thanks, me too

Adley:
Do you know the feeling when you really relate to a song? Not just like oh, I relate to this but like oh my god that song could have been written about me like?

Michael:
I know this feeling very good

Michael:
Which song are you talking about?

Adley:
I listened to Broken Home a lot today, it will always be my favourite song.

Michael:
Oh

Michael:
To be honest that just made me really sad

Adley:
I'm sorry

Michael:
Don't be, can I ask you a question?

Adley:
Sure

Michael:
So your dad is a dick, but you like your brother, right? Any other siblings? And is your mother as bad as your dad?

Adley:
Actually... you just asked me two questions

Adley:
No three, you technically also asked me if I like my brother, I do btw

Adley:
I don't have any other siblings. And my mum isn't as bad as my dad. Actually she was totally okay until my dad started to get drunk every morning and she threw him out when he started to beat up Aiden and me. Sooner or later she got really frustrated and started to get drunk every day as well. She never hit us tho, she was just screaming at us and that really wasn't bad, you get used to it very soon.

Michael:
That sounds horrible and I'm so sorry you had to get through this.

Adley:
It's not your fault, and I got rid of them anyway

Michael:
It's just... I wish I knew you back then already, I wish I could always have been there for you

Adley:
That's cute

Adley:
And it would have been nice
