So I like to think that Marinette, being the awesome girl she is, doesn't always need someone to save her, but realistically speaking no one can really fight 2 people, who are more or less at the same fighting level as them, at the same time.

So here goes chapter 3

________________________________________________________

Marinette had trained in fencing with her father ever since she knew how to stand on her own two feet. Finally getting to her the three guards jumped off their horses and drew out their swords.

- Give yourself up missy and we won't have to hurt you!

- In your dreams! I say you leave me alone and you might get back in one piece.

Whit that, one by one they tried to get her sword, to pin her down, to catch her and even hurt her so she would give up. But their swords never managed to get to her, let alone stop her. Even with a dress on, she was quicker than them, always blocking their hits and dogging at the right moment. She had always been lucky, but her luck was starting to run out since they were three and they weren't giving up. She didn't know how much longer she could keep it up.

Meanwhile, Chat Noir got to a safe corner of the city where he stopped wondering why no one was following him. Maybe they finally gave up on catching him, they must know by now that they don't stand a chance. As he was about to leave, a little kid jumped out of nowhere in front of his horse. He remembered seeing her in the crowd moments ago and wondered how she got there so fast.

- Chat Noir! The Baron sent his guards after the lady who defended Alya. She managed to get away but they followed her into the east forest with their horses! She said in a hurry. You have to help her please, she is always so nice to everyone and ...

Huffing out of breath, she inhaled deeply obviously ready to continue her persuading.

- Ok, Ok kid calm down I'll go right away, what's your name?

- Manon sir. She probably went towards the clearing next to the river.

- Alright, thank you, young lady.

Chat said before lightly striking his horse with his boots and shouting: Haya!

His steed got the message and galloped faster than the wind in the direction of the forest.

I sure hope I get there in time; the poor lady must be terrified. But god, was she cute standing up to the Baron like that. He thought to himself.

When he got to the river he couldn't believe his eyes. The girl was skilfully fighting off three guards. Her hair was fluttering in the wind and following her movements perfectly. He just then realized how beautiful the blue-eyed girl really was, her hair was a dark blue but when the light hit it just right black highlights were clearly visible. She was wearing a light pink dress not too fancy but it fit her forms perfectly.

He remembered how light she felt in his arm this morning before the incident. (Yes he was the mysterious green-eyed guy who bumped into her) He quickly remembered that she was actually in trouble because even though she was blocking all their attacks, they were still gaining on her. Chat raced towards the fight with his horse and jumped off right between the men and Marinette, stopping their simultaneous attack with his sword.

- Now, is neither of you three a gentleman? You are not giving the lady a fair chance in this fight. How about I even the odds a little?

Chat said with his typical grim.

The three guards wasted no time to run away and get to their horses. They already had a difficult time fighting the girl alone and knew that if Chat Noir was on her side there was not a chance for them to win.
