I have a total of 10 chapters planned for this story and I'm deciding whether or not to continue it with a sequel or not...

All eyes were on them from the moment they bowed. Everyone, except a few other couples that were dancing as well, watched them gracefully move through the room; their movements synchronized as if they had been dancing together forever. It felt right. They matched each other's movements exactly.

Adrien was holding her close, his hand on her back guiding her through every step. He never wanted to let her go. The warmth of her hands made him feel so good and he didn't know why or how but this girl gave him a sense of security that he hadn't felt in a long time. He loved the way her eyes seemed to sparkle with joy and her smile, ... oh, how he loved her smile.

Adrien had already chosen the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, but he needed to make sure she wanted it too. He had to find a way to see if she would be as happy with him as he was with her. He also still had to figure out what to do with his other persona, with Chat Noir.

At the end of the song, he had to let her go, to dance with some other ladies, for even if there were other lads at the party he was the main purpose of their presence. By the end of the night he had barely seen Marinette again and when he went to look for her he couldn't find her.

He started to consider she might have left and was very saddened by that thought. Until another guy who was at the party and happened to also be his best friend pulled him aside.

- She's on the balcony... the one in the red dress. You should also know that her parents left some time ago, they seemed in a hurry.

- Thank you, Nino. How did you know I was looking for her?

- No matter who you were with, your eyes were only on her. You have it bad, man. Now go see her before she leaves.

Adrien hurried on the balcony and there she was, looking at the starry sky.

- Isn't it a little frisky out here?

- Oh, I didn't hear you come out, yes just a little. She said rubbing her arms with her hands.

- Here take my jacket, I'll be ok.

- Thank you.

He gave it to her and leaned back on the rail at her side.

- The stares are so beautiful tonight! She said looking up at the sky

- Yes, they really are dazzling. But once again he was looking at her. I didn't see your parents and almost everyone left...

- My mother wasn't feeling very well so they had to excuse themselves early.

- Do you think she's all right?

- Yes, it was probably just the heat. I told them to go ahead and that I would join them later. I should actually go, it's already very dark.

- You are not planning on leaving alone I hope; the roads can be dangerous.

- Well, I don't really have a choice, but I'll be all right.

- You can always spend the night here, we have plenty of rooms and I really don't think my father would mind. Also, we can send a carrier pigeon to your house so your parents don't worry. What do you say?

- Well, I guess it's a lot safer... and I can just leave in the morning so I don't inconvenience you too much.

She herself wasn't fond of the idea of going home, alone in the dark, so Adrien's proposition was easily the best solution.
