Chapter 2

"Wait" I said and freed myself from the hug with Stefan "What about Damon? Is he okay with it?" I asked a little bit scared

"Of course he is and if he wouldn't be, he didn't had a choice!! You are my daughter and I wanna get to know you and that's way easier when we live in the same house" He said and he really meant it

"So daddy, will you help me to move in?" I asked smiling

"Okay, I really have to get used to that!!" Stefan said, a little laughing "What do you have to get used to??" I asked a little confused "That there is someone that calls me 'daddy'" He said and I really could understand him "Totally getcha" I said and walked to the door and turned around "Are you coming??" I asked and he giggled and walked towards me and we went to the living room

"So guys, make yourself useful and help me move in" I said, now much more confident

"Wow... Someone got her confidence" Elena said and laughed

"Yea" I said and walked outside towards my car and got in "What are you doing?!" Stefan asked "Well I can't let my car parked here!!" I yelled out of the window, then I started my car and drove into the driveway and stopped the car behind another one. I got out and opened the trunk "There is most of my stuff, well the backseat too, but yea. If you drive around forever, you learn that you don't need much stuff" I explained

"We really have to change that!! You need to make yourself feel like home, because this is your home now" Stefan said and took a suitcase from the backseat and another one from the backseat "Thank you, but I really don't need much!!" I said and took a suitcase myself

"Where do you want these??" Stefan asked "My room" I simply answered and started walking towards my room "She has a room already!?" Damon asked a little bit surprised "Just grab something and carry it inside!!" I said before going inside to my room, where I put my suitcase down on the bed and started unpacking it. During it Stefan, Damon and Elena dropped more and more stuff off. Then Elena came again with a box "That's the last one" She said and put it onto of another box "Do you need help??" She asked

"Yea, I mean if you want to" I said and continued unpacking my clothes and putting them into the closet. Elena started to put some of my photos and other stuff on the shelves. "Who's that?" She asked and I turned around and put the clothes down, that I had in my hand and walked over to her and looked at what she was holding. It was a small painting that looked like a photo "Oh, that was my best friend from 50 years ago"

"That photo doesn't look that old" Elena said and took a closer look at it "Yea, because it's not a photo, it's a painting I did a few years ago" I explained. The painting was showing me I  a black t-shirt and my hair was brighter and wavier. The sun was shining into my face and made some parts brighter than the rest of it. Next to me was my best friend that time. She was wearing a grey sweater and had black hair and a black head. Her skin was darker than mine, because she was... Actually I didn't know what origin her family was from, all I knew was that her family was gone

"So, who is that??" Elena asked again "Like I said, she was my best friend back then. And my only friend as well. I always had a hard time making friends and having practise in it doesn't make it easier. I'm just glad that I finally found a place to stay, other than my car or some hotel room I had to pay for, more or less. You can imagine that someone looking like 16 didn't really had a job"

"Well, my brother had a job once and he isn't that old. Not much younger than the age people think you are" She said "Now he's just a High School student" She added. "Your brother attends High School??" I asked curious "Yea, why?" Elena responded "I was thinking about going back to High School until I am a straight A student"
