"You wanna talk about her?" He asked and I nod "Ask away" I said. "Did you turn directly after you had her?" He asked and I nod "I had her when I was 15, turned when I was 16, so yeah" "When was the last time you saw her?" He asked and I sighed. "When I gave birth. She was too pale to pose as Emily's daughter and it would have been a shame for me to have a kid age 15. I did try to come back and find her, but I never really did. I found the midwife in training that helped deliver her, but never her" "What did you name her?" "Tinsley"

Suddenly we heard a sound behind us and turned around. Jeremy was standing there "Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt" He said. "No, it's okay. I'm tired anyways" I said and used my speed to get away. I couldn't handle my past and Jeremy at the same time. At one point it just gets too much.

The next day arrived way too soon if you ask me. Although I really want to go to school, the getting up early just isn't for me. I lived for 167 years, but getting up early is still horrible. But all the hesitating and complaining was totally useless, since nothing changed anyways, so I just got up and put on the first clothes that I could get into my hand, which was a bright blue ripped jeans and a white shirt. Normally I wouldn't wear white, due my usual lunch, but I wasn't up to looking for something else. So I used my speed to get some blood from the basement and drank it on my way up. "Morning Mandy" I heard my father say from the kitchen.

"Morning dad" I said as I was still standing in the living room. I finished the blood bag and went to the kitchen and threw it away. "Someone's being brave" He said and I rolled my eyes "I'm too lazy to do anything this morning. I'm just going to be glad when Landry doesn't act out" I said and washed my mouth out with some water. "Still don't get why you are friends with her" Jeremy said as she entered the room. "I have you know that since she is a vampire, I don't have to fear about losing her" I said and grabbed some of the pancakes my dad had just made.

"You can't just always live in fear of losing someone" Jeremy said. "But I do. Why do you think I dated an original. Didn't think he would die on me, then his brother daggered him and well, when he was undaggered, someone did manage to kill him" I said and finished up my pancakes. I wasn't really in the mood for small talk with Jeremy Gilbert.

"Seems like someone is a little unforgiving" Damon said as he walked into the kitchen with his typical Damon smirk. "Not true! I'm just upset I didn't get to say goodbye, that's all" I said and got up. "You know, watching you two is like watching a really bad romance movie. She loves me, she loves me not, he kill my one true love, how can I ever forgive him" Damon continued mocking us. I grabbed a knife and held it up "If you don't want to have this in your chest, I would should up" I said and he laughed "Really think you can threaten me?" He asked, not taking me seriously.

I used my speed, pushed the knife into his chest, then to escape to my room. "Not cool niece, not cool!" I heard him saying, following by the sound of the knife dropping to the floor. "I warned you" I said and went on to brush my teeth and do my hair and make up, which wasn't a lot of work, since I only brushed my hair and did a little make up. After I finished I put on some pair of heels, grabbed my bag and went downstairs.

"Are you still my ride?" I asked Jeremy, who nod "Yes, why would I be?" He asked and I walked to the front door "I'll wait in the car" I said and left the Salvatore Boarding House and sat down in Jeremy's car. It didn't take him long to join me.

The car ride started pretty awkward and it didn't start getting better the longer it took. "Why did you run out yesterday?" Jeremy asked me and I sighed "I was embarrassed" I told him, trying to avoid looking at his eyes. "Why? You didn't do anything bad" He said and I sighed "I still thought it was out of place. But why did you act so strange when you walked in on Stefan and I talking?" I asked him and now he was feeling uncomfortable as well. "I don't know" He answered. "Stop lying! You know exactly why" I said, looking at him. "I just realized something, that's all" "And what did you realize? I'm not letting this go Jer" I said. "I didn't think of you as a vampire. You were just Mandy, but now that I know you have a daughter, who has a 50% chance of still walking around, I can't see you like that anymore" He said and I looked down.

"Jer, I'm still that girl! The girl you met, the one that spilled blood on your shirt. I don't feel like a mother. I never officially met Tinsley. I don't even know if she ever knew about me" I said and looked out the window "But you are right with one thing, being a vampire is weird or being something like a vampire" I said, not looking back at Jeremy for the rest of the ride.

Before walking off, I looked one last time at Jeremy, before walking off and inside the school. "Trouble in paradise" Serena laughed and I turned around and looked at her "Shut up!" I said, but she only laughed more. "I hate you Serena DiMarlon!" I said before I started looking for Landry.

"There you are my best friend" Landry said and put an arm around my shoulder. "I'm your only friend" I said. "Not true, I have a ton of friends" She said. "Yeah, let' give them some vervain and find out" I said. "You are no fun Mandy!" She said and removed her arm.
