Stuck {Normal AU}

Velvet walks along the path, two werewolves following her behind and her friend, Eddie, by her side.
She stops and turns around, smiling sweetly at the two boys.
"You know I'm not going to hurt ya-"
"I'm not taking any risks, Velvet" Riley throws her a glare, a low growl escaping his throat.
Eddie frowns, tightening his grip on his dagger "Velvet... Are you sure you can trust them?"
"Eddie..." she rests a hand on his, smiling softly "My parents made a mistake. They hurt these poor mens family. They killed their parents in cold blood. I won't let them die too."
Eddie frowns, looking over at the werewolf boys.
Riley was holding his brothers hand.
Clearly Bailey, the slightly smaller one, was terrified. Shaking and whining, his ears flat on his head. While Rileys ears and tail were fluffed up, and he was growling.
"Right, as soon as we get to the small lake we take a left!" she mumbles to herself as she points at the map in her hands. Riley peeks over her shoulder, letting go of Bailey as he looks at it, furrowing his eyebrows together, snatching it out of her hands.
"Can't you take us back to Aquarius?"
"It's too dangerous for you both. You're both Princes but... If your caught by the werewolves, you're dead. I'm the werewolf Lady now but... I refuse to accept it. You two are meant to be the Lords."
Riley frowns, glancing at Bailey who nods.
"Riley... She's right. We shouldn't go to that village. People would get hurt"
His brother scowls, clenching his fists.
Riley hates when other people are right.
"Fine. Only because its safer for US." He snaps, quickly hugging Bailey and walking to lead him in the direction of Velvets camp.
But Velvet realises something is off.
Riley has poor hearing.
Bailey has poor sight.
Velvet quickly rushes forward, shoving Bailey out of the way and up they go.
Riley and Velvet stepped in a trap, rope tugging them from under their feet, both of them now stuck in a net.
Velvet gasps as she feels Riley up against her, opening her eyes.
Realising both of them are stuck.
Velvet squirms around and a loud rattling noise goes off.
Velvet stops.
"It's a trap" she says quickly, looking down at Eddie and Bailey who look terrified.
"Eddie- Take Bailey to the camp! Grab our stuff and go to Aquarius! Meet with Marlo!" she yells down at him.
Eddie freezes, looking around "VELVET I CA-"
"EDDIE IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT NOT LEAVING RIGHT NOW AND PROTECTING MY BROTHER YOUR DAGGER IS GOING THROUGH YOUR HEAD" Riley snaps, squirming around more.
Eddie shuts up, looking at Bailey who's trying to reach up and pull the net down.
Velvet smiles down at him, glancing around "Bailey- go with Eddie! I won't let your brother get hurt don't worry!" she says softly, trying to prove that she means it.
Bailey hesitates, before nodding "I LOVE YOU RILEY- DON'T GET HURT!" he whines, before following Eddie. Both rushing off.
Velvet stays still, looking around as she furrows her brows together. One of her legs hanging through the hole in the rope net, her arm behind her. Quite a painful pose. Riley elbow was dug into her ribs, his legs tangled up in the rope and one of his wrists stuck in the rope.
He seethes in pain "You know- ha- I've set so many of these traps in the past. I know how to get us down but I need a dagger" he frowns, looking up at the top of the net.
Velvet is quiet as she thinks.
She gasps "Kathlyne!"
"What?" Riley blinks "No a fucking dagger not a girl-"
"No! My friend- she can get us out of here. Where's my amulet-" she mumbles as she squirms around, wincing. Before taking hold of her amulet with her free hand. She manages to drop it through the net, watching it smash.
Riley blinks. Before losing it "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT FOR VELVET I KNEW YOU WERE STUPID BUT NOT THAT STUPID-"
"When an amulet breaks, it gives off a person's location, Riley. I thought you'd know that" she shrugs slightly, wincing as she hears yelling.
They weren't werewolves. They.
Were bandits.
"Well... Riley, what's your favourite colour?"
"Why do you wanna know?"
"Just wondering. I'm not worried or scared so... I'm just making conversation. They won't kill us. Besides, My friends will find us. Or... Maybe Glenn..."
"Who the fuck are your friends?" he tilts his head slightly, his ears flopping to one side, his hazel eyes wide.
"Oh their names are Rin, Kathlyne and Glenn. They... Aren't really like friends together. I mean. They may know each other. But if I'm in trouble I know I can count on them!" she laughs softly.
Riley frowns slightly "So kinda like guards?"
Velvet blinks "What? Do you not knwo what friends are?"
Riley snorts "Nah I'm joking you" he looks around before looking down at her, moving slightly, yelping, his ears flat on his head.
Velvet sighs, her ears twitching.
She's wearing a plain old yellow dress with a black corset, her satchel on the ground.
"If only my satchel was with us" she sighs, before looking back up at Riley.
She hears the bandits close in.
"Bailey will be okay, don't worry" she reassures the scared wolf as the bandits step under them.
"I hope so" Riley whispers.
"Well well well, look what we have here."
