Princess Layla.
She was the most loved princess out of all the Royal Smiths.
She was loving and kind. Everyone looked up to her and she was beautiful.
She had a curvy body and long beautiful white hair that was always long and flowing, a silver tiara on her head.
She had pale skin and blue eyes just like her mother.
She layed in her bed, her blankets over her as she laid on her side, snoring quietly, her hair a complete mess, strands in her mouth. Her eyes shut.
There's a knock on the door and Teddy steps in after Layla mumbles.
He walks over and crouches beside her bed, smiling sweetly "Mor-in" he struggles to say, but gives her a huge smile.
Layla opens her eyes, groaning softly, slowly sitting up. She was wearing a nightgown and that was all.
"Mm... Today is the day?"
Teddy nods.
"Jeez... I didn't think Father would marry Lily off so soon... And to a man she doesn't know?"
Teddy frowns sadly, resting a hand on her knee as if to reassure her.
"I'm fine, Teddy. Just worried for my sisters happiness" she sighs, standing up and making her way to the light pink folding screen.
She undressed and put her dress up ontop of it as Teddy put her clothes ontop of it, not even looking at the folding screen.
"You know, I hope I get to marry who I wish..." she mumbles as she pulls her beautiful blue-white dress on. It had a blue skirt part and the top was white, sashes around her waist and a black corset. Her sleeves long and covering her hands. It was slightly off the shoulder, silver lining around the edges.
After fully changing she steps out, coughing softly into her hand to grab Teddy's attention "Ah, Teddy can you do my corset?"
He nods and makes his way over, doing her corset up and gently pushing her hair over her shoulder.
She makes her way to her mirror, applying light makeup to pale her face and pinken her lips, but she was so naturally beautiful.
She placed her tiara ontop of her head after brushing her luscious soft white hair, putting her jewellery on.
"... Kiwo?" he smirks slightly.
Layla blushes bright red, looking over her shoulder at him "No! He... He is just a friend. That's all we'll ever be. Or atleast... I think so."
Teddy raises an eyebrow.
"Fine! I do admit... I've loved him for a long time..."
Teddy chuckles slightly, making his way over and hooking arms with her as he walks out of the room and down the hall with her.
She had scars all over her, but her dress covered most of them. Other than one along her collarbone by her chest. The corset puffed her chest out a bit which exposed the scar.
But she doesn't seem to care as she lifts her dress, walking infront of Teddy.
She watches as the guards push open the doors, giving them a small nod.
She looks at the table.
Lily is sitting at the table, her hands on her lap, staring blankly at her plate of food.
Her light brown hair a curly mess over her shoulders, part of it tied in a plait around her head, the rest curls down to her lower back. She wore a beautiful royal blue dress, silver lining and silver crown on her head.
Layla motioned for Teddy to wait outside as she took a seat opposite Lily.
"Dear sister... You don't look happy?"
"Would you be happy if you were marrying someone you barely knew?" Lily frowned "I don't know the man. What if he's a dickhead or what if he's like... Father?"
Layla sighs "Oh, Lily... We'll stay in contact when you are sent to his castle and if something does happen" she looks around, ignoring the guards as she leans in and whispers "You know I'll get you out of there. Teddy has done it before, he can do it again..."
Long ago, Teddy had helped Princess Mei escape and nobody found her. Still haven't. She's in hiding.
Nobody suspects Teddy at all.
"I suppose..." she sighs as she digs her fork into her meal, taking a bite.
Layla chuckles softly, taking a sip of her drink as she watches her father walk into the dining hall, Dean close behind him as he mumbles to his personal guard, Kristoph, to stay back.
Dean takes a seat next to Layla as Oliver takes the head seat.
Not long later, Evieh enters, carrying her little son who seemed to be asleep.
Her maid carefully took hold of the sleeping baby, curtsying to the Queen before retiring back out of the room to wait for her. Her guard also following the maid out.
She took a seat next to Oliver. Her long brown hair in a bun, a crown on her head. She wore a long red dress with different shades, all different layers, a dark corset and her sleeves poofy at the top. A necklace and many bangles and jewellery on her. Not that she really cared for looking amazing. Oliver told her to change and what to wear.
"Your wedding is tonight, Lily." Oliver says blankly, sipping his wine.
Evieh looks at her daughter with a sad smile "Are... You excited, my girl?"
"No." Lily says blankly.
Oliver puts his wineglass down, resting his chin on his hands "He's a good man. He will be a great husband."
"..." Dean scowls "Yes! Of course! Just like you are, huh?"
Oliver snaps his head back, staring at Dean "If I were you, I'd shut up."
"I'm not scared of you."
Oliver stands up, making his way over and practically dragging Dean out of his chair, ignoring his yelling and his weak punches on his dad.
"Oliver- please-" Evieh stands up, about to make her way over.
"DON'T YOU MOVE. THIS IS HIS PUNISHMENT" he bellows, turning and grabbing a metal rod by the fireplace, sticking it in the fire.
Layla doesn't watch, her hands on her face as she stared at the table, before almost bursting into immediate tears as she hears her brother cry out in pain.
She stands up and turns around, making her way over as Dean pulls away.
"Father- please he hasn't do-"
"What? Do you want one too?" he grabs Layla by her hair, causing her to shriek slightly.
But before he can do anything, the door is pushed open.
Dean quickly gets up, yanking his sleeves down as he watches Prince Kiro walk in. A confused and worried look on his face.
"The guards said I wasn't allowed in. But I heard a yell so I came in anyway. Is everything alright?" he stops as he looks at Dean, noticing immediately the blood staining his sleeve.
But Dean looks away, standing up and walking past before whispering a thank you. Rejoining with his guard, Kristoph, who grabs him and kisses him at the end of the hall, out of view of Oliver.
Oliver lets go of Layla, she winces as she holds her arm, quickly rushing back to her seat.
"Tch, you're early..." he mutters.
"Mother wanted tea with Evieh."
"I see..." he looks over at Evieh "You're dismissed."
Kiro watches as Evieh walks past, gently grabbing his arm.
"It's lovely to see you, Kiro. It's been so long!" she kisses his cheek before leaving, her maid and Guard following as she goes to meet up with her best friend, Lanna.
Lily stands up "I need to get ready... It was nice seeing you Kiro and... Layla can you come see me in a few hours. Before the wedding?"
"Of course."
And after a while.
It's left with just Kiro and Layla in the dining hall, other than two guards by the door.
Layla pulls herself out of her seat, walking over to Kiro, her hands infront of her "Ah... It's lovely to see you. I'm sorry you had to see that, Prince Kiro."
"Are you okay?" he says worriedly, gently grabbing her hand and checking her arm "Did he-"
"No. He didn't" she reassures him, giving him a gentle smile "Here... Come follow me. We'll take a walk, Hm?"
"Alright. That'd be nice" he smiles lovingly at her.
It was clear their feelings for each other.
She love him
And by gods, did he love her.
They had for a ridiculously long time.
After a while, they stayed in the rose gardens, sat by the large fountain, watching the water fall from the top, a sad smile on Layla's face.
"... Does he always do that?" he questions.
"Hm?"
"Does he always hurt you?"
Layla doesn't reply straight away, straightning out her dress, thinking of a way to reply.
"... No" she frowns slightly "But... He does alot."
"Jesus... Layla you must-"
"There is nothing I can do about it. Until I'm married off, I cannot do anything."
They both sit in silence again, his hand making his way to hers.
They held hands tightly, both their keeps flushing red.
"I... Don't want to get married to someone I do not know, Kiro" she looks at him, her beautiful blue eyes sparkling as hers meet his.
"... I don't want you to either, Layla..." he drifts off the sentence, leaning forward as his hand rested against her cheek, wiping away a tear that was escaping.
"Oh, Kiro..." she whispers to him, her hands grabbing his face, her fingers gently going to his hair "We... Shouldn't" she breathes out.
Their faces close, their lips just a breath away as Layla pulls her body closer to him.
"We will anyway" he murmurs "I've always Loved you, Layla..."
"I..."
"I know. You will be married off... But... What if we are in love... I can convince my mother to convince your father... We can..." he tilts her chin up slightly to make her look at him, a loving smile on his face "We can be together forever... We're in love... Right?"
"Kiro..."
Their lips meet, it starts off a soft, gentle short kiss, pulling away slightly before going straight back, the kiss getting more and more passionate, Kiro pulling her onto his lap as he kisses her, her hands in his hair messing it up as she kisses him so lovingly and passionately, his hands moving to her butt and waist to keep her up as he moves slightly away from the fountain, holding her body close to his.
His touch so gentle and full of love, both full of passion and just.
Complete and utter love.
They pull away, both gasping for breath as they hold each other close.
"God... I love you..." he whispers.
"I love you most, Kiro..." she murmed, kissing at his neck gently, pulling his clothing down as she kisses warm his skin, leaving small marks.
Kiro chuckles lovingly as he puts her down, holding her hands "We'll be together... Forever."
Layla nods, smiling up at him "Yes. We will..."
Teddy chuckled as he followed, Kiros guard mumbling as he shoves a small pouch of money into Teddy's hand.
Bet that they'd get together and Teddy won!
