Kim Bora

HeeJin's P.O.V.
There she was. Sitting on one of the schools outdoors lunch tables. The girl who let her date stand in the rain for two hours. Kim Bora.

I wasn't sure if I should walk up to her and yell at her or just be calm and tell her about what happened to Jungkook. I mean, maybe she didn't do it on purpose. Maybe something came up and her phone's battery was dead so she couldn't contact Jungkook.

I took a deep breath and walked up to her. "Kim Bora" I grabbed her attention away from her phone. "And you are?" She asked.

"I'm Song HeeJin. The girl who helped Jeon Jungkook get a date with you." She looked at me for a few seconds before realizing whom I was talking about.  "Why did you not come to the date?"

She sighed loudly and stood up from her seat. I noticed how she let her brown hair down today. Her fingers slowly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before looking at me.

"I'm sorry, but I don't like him. I accepted to go on that date because I felt bad rejecting him. I thought that if I didn't show up, he might forget about me." She explained.

My blood boiled listening to what she said. She didn't come to the date because she didn't want to hurt his feelings? Bullsh— Nonsense.

"Stop with your stupid crap. Are you serious right now? You didn't want to hurt his feelings?  Well, guess what? He had to stand in the rain for two freaking hours waiting for you because you never showed up!" My voice was starting to get louder as I kept on talking.

Bora crossed her arms and looked at me straight in the eye. She was taller than me which made her look like the bigger person in this situation.

"Well, it's his fault for standing there for two hours. Who told him to wait that long anyway? Most guys would just leave after 30 minutes." Her words made my anger grow.

"Jungkook was freaking cold that night! He was shivering and he had nothing to cover himself up! You didn't even bother to call him  and tell him you weren't going to show up! If you didn't want to hurt him, then you should've told him you didn't want to go on a date in the first place!!" I yelled at the top of my lung.

I think I might've caught the attention of everyone who was eating outside. Good, they should all know how fake Bora really is.

"Stop yelling, everyone is looking at us. He should've just brought an umbrella or something that day. It's isn't my fault."

After what she said, I couldn't handle my anger anymore. I didn't care if almost the whole school was looking at me, I was going to show this girl her rightful place in the school.

Right when I was about to attack her, I felt a pair of hands grabbing both my arms and dragging me away from Bora.

"Hey let go of me! She needs to get a good beating and learn her lesson!" I yelled as I kept getting dragged away from Bora and all the people staring at us.

The person finally lets go of me as I turned around ready start yelling again. "Why'd you take me away from her!?  I was about to-...wait, Jimin?"

He flashed me his eye smile and sat on the bench which he dragged me to. I stared at him confusingly while he leaned back on the bench.
"You definitely are a weird girl." He said. "Weird?" I repeated.

"You were about to fight a girl for not coming to a date! You caused a scene, are you crazy!?" He yelled. I looked down in embarrassment after realizing what I had done. "Jungkook saw the whole thing by the way..."

I widen my eyes. "W-What did he do about it?" He crossed his arms. "Nothing. He walked away letting you embarrass yourself."

I clenched my fist about to walk away and find Jungkook, but Jimin held me back. "Not so fast." I took a deep breath and looked at him.

"Liking someone is not an easy thing for Kookie. He may seem like a jerk, but he's actually really kind and shy. The last time he liked a girl was probably back in middle school, and let me tell you, that didn't end well. I think the middle school incident is what caused him to think Love is useless." I listened to Jimin talk carefully.

I sat myself next to him on the bench and let him keep talking. "Honestly, the fact that you actually got him to ask someone out on a date is a great progress. Yes, it didn't go well, but that was because Bora was never the right girl. He just needs the perfect girl." Jimin looked at me in a weird way.

The Perfect Girl? It's a challenge, but I know I can do it. "Thanks, Jimin, I'm going to go find Jungkook." He nodded. "He should be in the music room. He likes going there for some silence. I remind you that he's still a stubborn kid, so it might be hard to get him back on his feet." I nodded at what he said and made my way towards the school.

As I arrived, I went to my locker to grab my guitar. My dad had fixed it during the weekend, but I haven't had the chance to play it for a while. So since I'm going to the music room, I might as well bring my guitar.

I walked to the music room and saw how the door was already opened. I peeked in and saw Jungkook sitting inside with his earphones plugged in. His fingers were tapping on his knees to the beat of the music while he hummed the song. His eyes were closed making him look so calm and innocent. A smile crept my lips as I stared at the view.

I knocked lightly on the door and grabbed his attention before entering. I got myself a chair and sat in front of him placing my guitar case on the floor.

"I'm not doing your 'Love Formula' thing anymore." He said as soon as he saw me.

"I'm here to get you back on your feet!" I positively said as I opened my guitar case and took my now fixed guitar out.

"You play guitar?" He asked.

I nodded. "How about we make another deal. If I play a song that makes your heart flutter, you will have to let me help you again. If not, I will leave you alone and will pretend like I've never met you before."

He thought for a while before nodding. "Okay, Song HeeJin. Show me what you can do."

I don't know if this will help, but it's worth a try.
