(A/N: THATS RIGHT Y'ALL! I'M PUTTING FREAKING NAMJOON'S P.O.V.!!!!)
Yes, having your heart broken by a former lover can leave a scar, but that doesn't mean that scar can't heal. I might as well find a way to heal this scar, I just don't know how.
"Namjoon." Her voice was music to my ears.
I couldn't help but turn around seeing her smile brightly like she used to. The sad atmosphere around her was replaced with happiness. She looked like her innocent and kind self she used to be when we were together, but this time it seemed more powerful.
"HeeJin." I forced a smile.
She walked her way closer to me keeping her smile stuck to her face. It's probably the first time she smiled so brightly since I transferred to this school. Everything about her just made my heart skip a beat just like the old times, but this time, she doesn't feel the same.
"Thank you..." Her words were sincere. Her smile warmed my heart and her voice calmed my body.
"Thank you for...?"
"For trying to help Jungkook and I. Although I may have not believed you, you still agreed to help and try." She looked down at her feet for a few seconds before looking back at me. "Let me help you now."
Her words repeated in my head processing what she just said. After a few seconds of spacing out, I finally came to my senses. "Why now? You denied to help me when I asked for it last time."
"Because you tried to help me. Even after I denied to help you, even after I rejected you, you decided to help Jungkook. I want to help you find that one person who would love you now."
"When I said I needed your help that day, I never said I wanted you to help me find a girl. I needed someone to help me heal from my heartbreak, someone who knew more about me than anyone else did, someone who understands me, someone like you, HeeJin." I approached her a little more not trying to get too close knowing my limits.
My eyes looked straight into hers seeing the guilt in them. She probably feels guilty about not accepting to help me. Now I feel guilty for making her feel guilty.
"Fine. I'll accept your help." I said as I stared at the spark of guilt in her eyes disappear and turn into excitement.
"Great! Come with me!" She grabbed my arm dragging me out of the school into the outdoors cafeteria.
She stopped walking and started to look around before spotting what she was searching for and dragging me again. We walked for a while before stopping in front of Jungkook and some girl standing next to him.
"Hyung!" Jungkook yelled happily flashing his bunny smile. I smiled back and shifted my gaze to the girl standing. I couldn't see what she looked like because she was hanging her head low.
Jungkook walked his way to my side while HeeJin walked by that girl's side. "Kim Namjoon, meet Kang Nari."
She lifted her head up and shyly bowed while I repeated the same while awkwardly smiling. The awkward silence lasted for a while before HeeJin began to speak. "Well, I'll let you to it." She said before walking off with Jungkook.
