Lies

3rd Person P.O.V.
Jungkook arrived at school with the guitar in his hands making sure HeeJin wasn't anywhere nearby. He was hoping that Namjoon would appear sooner or later from somewhere. After agreeing to date Nari, he has no choice but to leave HeeJin.

"Is that HeeJin's guitar?" A voice asked behind Jungkook.

Jungkook, recognizing the voice, turned around and let out a sigh. He nodded before speaking. "Could you do me a favor?" Jungkook asked to Namjoon now standing in front of him.

Namjoon tilted his head before shoving his hands into his pocket. "What kind of favor?" He asked.

Jungkook stared at the guitar for a long amount of time before holding it to Namjoon. "Give this to HeeJin and..." He paused. "...Tell her that you found it..."

Namjoon slowly grabbed the guitar from Jungkooks hold and stared at him confusingly. "Why?"

Jungkook kept his eyes on the guitar that now Namjoon was holding. "Just...stay with her." was all Jungkook said before leaving Namjoon with the guitar he had worked so hard to find.

"My guitar..." were the only words HeeJin was able to let out her mouth.

She was completely shocked, but what shocked her the most was the fact that Namjoon was the one giving it back to her and not Jungkook. "Uh...I bought it from somewhere a few days ago and it had your name on it" Namjoon said hesitantly.

HeeJin slowly grabbed the guitar from Namjoon's hands not knowing what to say. After all, she was expecting Jungkook to give it to her and not the guy who left her for another girl. "Thanks..."

The awkward silence took over as Namjoon stared at HeeJin who was staring at her guitar letting her thoughts invade her brain. "I..I need to go..." was all HeeJin said before entering the school again.

She made her way towards her locker still confused in why it was Namjoon who had brought back her guitar. She opened her locker and placed the guitar in it before closing it and turning around.

The first thing she saw when she turned around was Jungkook walking in the hallways looking down with his hands in his pocket. He seemed lost in his thoughts as if something was bothering him. HeeJin still not understanding how Namjoon found her guitar, walked up to Jungkook.

"Kookie." Jungkook's thoughts were interrupted by HeeJin's voice speaking the nickname she created for him.

"HeeJin..." He said letting a light blush cover his cheeks.

"Um...I got my guitar back." HeeJin awkwardly said.

"That's cool..." Jungkook didn't know how to answer knowing that he was actually the one who got the guitar back. Unfortunately, the only way to get that guitar was to sacrifice something, or rather someone important to him.

HeeJin let out a sigh and smiled trying to scatter away the awkward atmosphere. "Let's meet in the music room at lunch? I could play a bit of music and we could talk about the Love Formula think" she excitedly said, happy that she could play her guitar again.

Jungkook rubbed the back of his neck not knowing how to respond. He knew hanging out with her would just cause HeeJin to lose her guitar again and he did not want to see her feeling hurt without it. "Um...HeeJin, let's stop this."

HeeJin's smile soon turned upside down not understanding what Jungkook meant. "Stop what?" She cluelessly asked.

"These little Love Lessons. I...how do I say this? I found someone I like..." Jungkook tried to say pausing in between each sentence.

HeeJin's eyes widened. A part of her heart was happy for him but another part of it ached. Deep down she knew she had feelings for him, but she kept denying it afraid of being hurt again.

"Oh...I see! I'm happy for you!" HeeJin said faking a smile trying to act happy for him.

"You are?" Jungkook was hoping to hear something else.

"Do I know her? Who is it?" Curiously asked HeeJin.

"Um..." Jungkook did not want to tell HeeJin the girl he was 'dating' was Nari.

But luck was not on his side because Nari appeared beside him in a matter of seconds.

"Me! I'm dating him" Nari grabbed Jungkook's arm while he glared at her.

HeeJin's smile dropped while her heart ached staring at Nari casually grabbing Jungkook's arm. She wasn't ready to completely believe this, she wanted to hear Jungkook say it himself.

"Jungkook, is this true?" HeeJin asked a part of her hoping it was all just a lie.

Jungkook looked away not being able to face HeeJin at the moment. "Y-Yes..." He said.

HeeJin's heart was broken.

She felt hurt.

She felt anger.

She felt betrayed.

Nari stole her guitar. She threatened to sell it if HeeJin didn't give up on Jungkook. HeeJin gave up her guitar for Jungkook, yet here he is dating Nari after everything HeeJin has done.

"Jungkook. You can't be serious! She stole my-" HeeJin was cut off.

"Your guitar?" Nari smirked. "I guess things happen and Jungkook chose me."

Nari placed her hand on Jungkook's chest while she stared at Jungkook. On the other hand, Jungkook stared at HeeJin who was staring at Nari with an of expression betrayal. Nari noticed Jungkook staring at HeeJin and placed her fingers on Jungkook's chin turning it down to face her. HeeJin stared at the both having a 'moment'.

"I hope things go well in your relationship," HeeJin said wanting to leave the scene.

She turned around before leaving the two alone. Jungkook shoved Nari off of him ready to go after HeeJin, but Nari stopped him from going any further.

"Don't forget, I could get that guitar back," Nari said with a smirk plastered to her face.

Jungkook sighed and stared at HeeJin's back disappearing in the distance. "I'm sorry..." he mumbled.

I usually always have chapters ready in advanced, but I've been very stressed this week so I didn't have time to write.
I promise I will try to write longer chapters again!
