Missing
3rd Person P.O.V.
HeeJin walked beside Jungkook with her books in her hands. She kept talking and talking about the different girls that were interested in him at school while Jungkook pretended to listen.HeeJin arrived at her locker and stopped before turning around to face Jungkook. "It's almost been a month." I looked at her confusingly. "I've been helping you for a freaking month and you're still here living such a lonely life!" She facepalmed herself. "'I'm a horrible Cupid."
HeeJin immediately caught Jungkook's attention as soon as he heard her say that. "No! You're an amazing Cupid! I'm just bad at following lessons" he said trying to comfort her.
HeeJin chuckled and stared at Jungkook's silliness. "You're also a weird person." She said before turning to open her locker.
Jungkook smiled and leaned himself on the locker beside hers. He waited for her to put the right numbers on the lock before unlocking it and opening her lockers.
HeeJin's books suddenly fell to the round and made a loud thud. Jungkook looked at the books confusingly and then at HeeJin who seemed to have her eyes wide open. She went through her locker stressfully not minding the books laying on the ground.
Jungkook kneeled down and picked up the books before standing up still confused in what was going on with HeeJin. She was still searching for something her locker making a lot of noise.
"It's gone!" She yelled. "It's gone, it's gone...it's gone!" She repeated still searching in her locker.
Jungkook didn't know what to do with the suddenly panicking HeeJin. "HeeJin! Calm down? What happened? Is there something missing?"
HeeJin turned around to face Jungkook with panic in her eyes. "My guitar! It's not there anymore!" Her eyes were starting to fill up with tears.
HeeJin turned around again and looked through her locker another time although she knew it was no use. "Jungkook, the guitar is really gone! What do I do!?" She yelled again.
Jungkook quickly grabbed HeeJin's shoulders and turned her around forcing her to look at him in the eye. "HeeJin, please calm yourself. We will find it. Maybe you left it somewhere, just check in the places you went with your guitar."
HeeJin inhaled and then exhaled. She repeated her action a few times until she was finally feeling calm. "I had my guitar this morning. I went to the cafeteria with it to buy something, then I headed walked outside with it for a while before going to the music room during lunch."
Jungkook nodded and patted her shoulder. "You go check outside and I'll check in the cafeteria and the music room. Alright?" She nodded before they both turned around and parted their ways.
°°°
Jungkook looked around the cafeteria about three times before actually giving up. He sighed loudly as he placed his hand on his hips.
"You seem to be searching for something." Jungkook heard someone ask.
He turned around to find the owner of the voice. There stood Namjoon smiling letting his dimples show.
"What are you doing here anyway? Schools over." He said.
"I'm searching for HeeJin's guitar..." Jungkook Responded.
"Guitar? Did she lose it?" Namjoon Asked suddenly seeming worried.
"I think so. She seemed panicked, but I couldn't understand why." Jungkook said still looking around.
"Is she alright!? Where is she now!?" Namjoon Asked urgently.
Jungkook seemed confused in why Namjoon was panicking now. "Why do you want to know?" He asked.
"That guitar is EVERYTHING to her! It's the only memory she has of her mother" Namjoon yelled. "She can't lose it. To her, it's like losing her mother again..."
Jungkook's eyes widened. His urge to find the guitar grew as he started to look around again eagerly. He looked back at Namjoon with a serious face. "Search in the music room, I'll go outside and find HeeJin." Jungkook ordered.
"Hey, wait. Why can't I be the one to find HeeJin and you go in the music room?" Jungkook sighed and glared at Namjoon. "Because she doesn't want to talk to you." Was all Jungkook said before walking out of the cafeteria leaving Namjoon there dumbfounded.
°°°
HeeJin's eyes wandered around worriedly afraid she would lose her guitar forever. She had searched almost everywhere around the schools outdoors and began to become worried after finding no trace of her guitar anywhere. She was now walking behind the school where she first met Jungkook. There wasn't anyone anywhere because school was over.
Her eyes landed on the tree a bit far from her. There stood another figure by the tree, but it was a bit blurry from where HeeJin was standing. HeeJin squinted her eyes and started walking towards the tree.
As she arrived, she realized the tree was the same exact place she met Jungkook. Her hand placed itself on the tree as she looked up at the branches. Her eyes traveled from the top of the tree to the bottom. She sighed before looking in front of her.
There stood the girl she saw earlier from a distance. On the floor was an object she wouldn't expect to see. It was her guitar case.
It was laying on the ground. HeeJin immediately ran up to it and kneeled down to take it, but when she looked inside, her guitar wasn't there. She looked up at the girl who backed away.
The girl was holding on to her guitar.
HeeJin knew it was her guitar because she could see her name engraved on it. She slowly stood up and approached the girl weakly trying to get her guitar back. The girl moved away again not letting HeeJin take her guitar. HeeJin took a look at the girl's face and found her very familiar.
"That's my guitar," HeeJin said as she kept her eyes on her guitar.
"I don't care. You took something precious from me, so I will do the same." The girl spoke.
"What do you mean? I don't know you." HeeJin said confusingly.
The girl snickered and looked around her. "Recognize this place?" She asked.
HeeJin nodded. "You took Jungkook." The girl said. HeeJin tilted her head in confusion.
"I'm the girl who confessed to him that day."
