Chapter 1

Moonlight club

The club was filled with the group of people who were extremely drunk and were moving their bodies carelessly on the beats of music. Some were busy in their make out sessions while some others were enjoying with their friends.

A girl who is under the effects of drugs is shown sitting in the corner, she is not in her senses, she is heavily drugged and is murmuring only one line.

Girl- Mission 234 destroyed me, it took away everything from me. Mission 234 destroyed me. It destroyed me. I hate mission 234. I hate this mission. I hate mission 234.

Tears were rolling down from her eyes.

Two boys saw her and thought of taking advantage of her condition.

Boy 1 - Hey baby. What are you doing ?

The girl looks up and was battling her eyelashes.

Boy 2 - What are you speaking ?

Girl - Mission 234 destroyed me. It took away my everything. ( She says innocently as she was not in her senses. )

Boy 1 - You like drugs ?

Girl nods.

Boy 2 - You want to have some more ?

Girl - I don't have much money now. How I will buy my drugs ?

Boy 1 - We can give you your drugs but you have to give us something. Don't worry we won't ask for money. ( smirks ).

Girl - Then what you want ? ( innocently).

Boy 1 - We only want one thing .

He leans forward and claims her lips without even asking her, he was kissing her harshly while she was wincing in pain. She was helpless. After he was done, next boy came for doing the same.

Boy 2 - Don't worry baby, we will give you alot of drugs if you will satisfy us.

He was about to kiss her but then they heard police jeep's siren. Everyone there become vigilant except the drunkards who were roaming in their own world. The guys started to run for saving their lives. The girl panics as they didn't gave her drugs which she needs badly.

She held hand of one boy.

Girl - You told me that you will give me drugs then.

Boy 1 - Leave me, you idiot. ( He yells at her. )

Girl - See please give me.. ( She was crying).

The boy slaps her and she falls down holding her bruised cheek. The boys ran away while she was left shattered.

The police came inside and took all the people present there in the police station.

DD ( constable )- Sir, all the people are caught handed. Some were supplying drugs while some other were consuming.

His boss came outside and he was none other than ACP Neil Khanna.

Neil - Do one thing DD. Separate the people who were supplying drugs and the ones who were consuming them. Call the counsellor as well.

DD - Sir, why counsellor ? ( confused )

Neil - The people who were supplying drugs should be punished badly but the ones who were consuming them should be analysed properly. So for that I need a counsellor who can tell me about their addictions and mental state. If possible then we should bring a change in them.

DD smiles and calls counsellor. Soon she arrived and was analysing each and everything of the victims of drugs.

Soon the counsellor called that girl for her counselling session. Neil and DD were watching each and every session. Neil saw her bruised cheek and felt bad for her.

Counsellor - So, your name.

Girl - My... my .... name ... my dad used to call me Avni but now everyone calls me bad luck, slut and all. So I  guess my name is Avni.

Neil felt pain in her voice.

Counsellor- Where is your dad ?

Avni - Dad.. ( tears rolls down from her eyes. ) Dad.. dad ... Mission 234 mission 234 it took away my everything. ( She was crying bitterly).

DD - ( to Neil) sir, mission 234 ?

Neil - How she know about that mission ?

Counsellor- Avni where is your dad ?

Avni - ( panic ) Mission 234. It destroyed me. My dad.

Counsellor- Calm down !! I won't ask about this. Just tell me why you take drugs.

Avni - I like it. ( broken voice ).

Counsellor- Who slapped you ?

Avni - Everyone.

Neil was feeling as if someone is piercing his heart. He always tends to keep emotions away when it comes to his duty but he felt her pain.

Counsellor- Who slapped you today ?

Avni - A guy slapped me. He promised me that he will provide me drugs if I satisfy his needs. He kissed me and then ran away when I tried to stop him then he ... ( She was crying).

Neil was burning in anger after listening this.

Counsellor- You may go.

Avni leaves.

Counsellor- Sir, she needs proper care. She is really disturbed. I think you should sent her in rehab for her treatment.

Neil - We will do it. Thanks.

He leaves from there and saw Avni who was sitting outside his cabin with blank expression on her face. He was sad after seeing her condition.

Prakash came in police station for searching Neil as he wasn't picking up his calls due to his investigation. He saw Avni sitting there.

Prakash - Avni ... ( shocked)

Avni didn't listen him so he went towards her. Neil saw this and was shocked that his dad already know about Avni.
