Chapter 10

It was a blissful morning, the nature was at it's best but two people were in utmost peace, both were sleeping in each other's arms and were enjoying their comfort.

For Avni Neil's arms were  the most secured and comfortable place, she felt protected in his warm embrace as if she is free from all the demons and no one can harm her when she's clinging to him and for Neil Avni's presence was like a source of inner peace.

The sun splendid it's rays and Neil's sleep got disturbed due to sunrays. The first thing he saw after waking up was the position in which they both slept last night. It was one of the most magnificent view for him. A small smile crept on his face when he saw that Avni was sleeping like an innocent baby with a pout lingering on her face making her look more cute. He caress her hairs gently and was trying to free himself from her grip as he don't want to make her feel awkward due to their close proximity, after some struggle he got up from the bed not before making her sleep comfortably, he was already missing her comfortable warmth and wanted to sleep again while hugging her tightly but he shook away his thoughts and turned to leave but stopped in his tracks as he wanted to admire her. He was head over heels for her innocence and she was making it difficult for him by looking more cute in her sleep. He leaned towards her temple but then moves away, he was about to go but wasn't able to do so, he again leaned forward and placed a tender kiss on her forehead. He caressed her face gently and admired her for one last time. He held her hand and whispered.

Neil - ( mere whispers) I love you.

After that he left her room.

He came back into her room after half an hour and found her still sleeping. He smiles and walks towards her.

Neil - Avni wake up. Get ready.  ( He says softly  and was patting her cheeks..)

Avni groaned but Neil kept on waking her up. Finally after some struggle she woke up.

Avni - It's only 7 and you woke me up.

Neil - Yes. Now get ready in your tracks as we are going for jogging.

Avni - What ? But..

Neil - No ifs no buts we are going. That's it. Get ready within 15 minutes and meet me in the garden.

He leaves and Avni gets ready as she was left with no choice.

After 20 minutes she reaches in the garden and saw that Neil was waiting for her.

Neil - You are 5 minutes late. So you will get a punishment after jog.

Avni - Hein !! But I am late by only 5 minutes. ( puzzled )

Neil - That's why you will get minor punishment today. After jogging you have to do 50 elbow push ups.

Avni - What ? 50 that too after jog. ( shocked )

Neil - Yes.

Avni - Will you use your police training techniques on me ?

Neil - nope or I can say precisely yes. I want to make you strong physically and if you will work on your physical health your mental health will recover at fast pace so we both will be working out in the morning from now onwards. And I am very strict when it comes to exercise and all, so be my disciplined student. Okay ?

Avni gulps down in fear.

Avni - O....o..Okay... ( trembling )

Neil mentally laughs after seeing her condition. On the other side Avni was having some kind of fear and respect for Neil after seeing his new shade, she felt as if he is a strict professor and she is an obedient student.

Neil and Avni went to jogger's park and started their work out sessions. After jogging for 1 hour Avni was sitting on the bench while Neil was attending some important call.

He comes back to her after ending his call.

Neil - Now you have to take 1 whole round of this park while running not jogging. I will note down the time.

Avni - I can't do it. ( afraid ).

Neil - You want me to increase your punishment ?

Avni - Nope ...

Neil - Then do what I say.

Avni - Okay !!

Neil - Come on take your position now .

She takes her position.

Neil - On your mark, get set and .... go ...

Avni runs as fast as she could while Neil was running along with her for motivating her.

Neil - Increase your speed Avni ... You can do it ... Come On...

Avni - I.....I....can't ( breathing heavily )

Neil - You can. Just make your mind believe that you can do everything....

Avni increases her speed and remember Neil's words. After finishing she was breathing heavily.

Neil - You did this in 10 min and 30 seconds while the estimated time was 15 minutes. This is the power of brain Avni. You have to make your brain strong, everyone says that our brain controls us but the day we will learn to control our brain that day we will be transformed into a determined personality.

Avni listens his each and every word very keenly.

Neil cups her cheeks gently.

Neil - This will help you in your problem as well.

Avni nods as her respect for him keeps on growing with time.

Neil - Now ready for your punishment ?

Avni - 50 elbow push ups are very difficult Neil. Please give some other option. ( pleading ).

Neil - Okay then 100 elbow push ups.

Avni - What ? ( shocked )

Neil - You have 2 choices. It depends upon you, decide whether you have to complete your push ups within 50 laps or you would choose 100 laps. ( smirks )

Avni - 50  ..

Neil - Good girl. Come let's start.

They started doing push ups. Neil completed earlier and saw that Avni was finding it difficult to complete her task.

Neil - You can do it ... You will do it ...

Finally Avni did that and they both went home.

Neil - Go and take a warm shower. I will prepare breakfast for us.

Neil started his cooking, then his phone beeps showing Prakash's name on the caller id. He was very happy.

Neil reverts the call .
