Chapter 14

Prakash hugged his both kids, they both were very happy after meeting their father.

Neil - I missed you so much dad... ( happily ).

Avni - I missed you too uncle .. ( smiling ).

Prakash - ( while breaking the hug ) Why uncle ? You should call me dad, it will make me happy if you will do so..

Avni - Dad... ( smiling )

Prakash hugged her and caressed her hairs.

Prakash - That's like my daughter... ( emotional ).

Neil admires the duo lovingly. He can see the same fatherly affection of Prakash for Avni that he have for him. The way he took care of Neil after his mother's death was something very close to Neil's heart and today he is seeing the same moments between Avni and Prakash. He is blessed to have both Avni and Prakash in his life as they both complete him and he want to keep them safe forever.

On the other side Avni felt as if Ashish is near her and is holding her in order to ensure her that everything is gonna be alright. Though he left her still he blessed her in form of Prakash. For her Prakash and Neil are the biggest blessing of her life and she want to be in their cocoon of love and affection forever cos now she is habitual of their presence.

Prakash only want to keep his kids happy. He want to make them brave enough for tackling their problems on their own. Neil is capable enough to do so courtesy Prakash's upbringing due to which Neil have grown up with strict principles and humble attitute towards others. Unfortunately Avni wasn't able to receive his preachings but now both Prakash and Neil are determined enough to generate a fighting spirit within  her so that she can also become strong and brave.

Neil - Both of you forgot a poor guy standing here waiting for a warm hug from both of you... ( He says innocently and pouts.)

Prakash and Avni breaks the hug and giggles at his antics. Neil also smiles as he wanted to lighten the situation.

Prakash - Avni and Neil you both go and freshen up and after that we will have breakfast.

Neil - Yes dad and Avni after breakfast you start making your third painting when I will return from police station we will visit another shop for paying back their money..

Avni nods and left...

After breakfast Avni went to her room for making her drawing and Prakash was sitting with Neil in the balcony as he wanted to discuss something important with Neil.

Neil - Everything fine dad ?

Prakash- Yes, I want to discuss some important matter with you.

Neil - Go ahead dad ...

Prakash- Neil, I want to punish Avni's family for whatever they did with Avni and you can help me in this. We will file a case against them and I am the witness of the entire scenario that took place in her childhood so we can fight a battle against them.

Neil - ( sighs ) So you want us to fight a battle for Avni ... Right ?

Prakash- Yes Neil....

Neil - And what Avni will do ?

Prakash- What do you mean ? ( confused ).

Neil - Dad you only said that you want Avni to be  independent in all aspects that's why I used her painting passion in order to give her future employment, we both decided that she will visit counsellor regularly for speedy recovery and we both discussed that we will make her fight her inner demons, we will make her strong enough to face every hurdle that comes in her way. If we are trying our best to make her independent then how can we fight against her family alone ? Avni should fight against the discrimination she faced in her childhood and we will help her in that. For reaching towards destination Avni have to walk for herself, we will walk along with her but we won't be doing it on her behalf. Her presence is important in this matter then only our efforts will be fruitful. I hope you understood what I am trying to say dad.
