I stiffened slightly as she brought up what had happened at the park. "Did you ever find out anything about that guy that you were looking for?"

I pretended to think, having already planned to lie if she asked about it. "Yeah. Hayoung oppa found him. I was worried for nothing. He was perfectly fine."

Despite not knowing about it beforehand, Hayoung played along perfectly. "He was just lost in an unknown town. We were just trying to have a fun vacation away from Seoul, but he ran off from the group and got lost. He's back at the hotel with his girlfriend now. Enough about that now. How's the gang? Anything interesting happening?"

With one nervous glance towards me, she sent the message that she wasn't sure if she could say in front of an outsider. Catching on, Hayoung spoke up again. "Don't worry about her. She's in a smaller, local gang in Seoul. She knows all about stuff like this. The wound on her leg is from getting shot."

Nayoung nodded before finally answering. "Seojun oppa fell in love, but she broke his heart because she was dating another guy, so Taewoo kidnapped her, but she got away with Seojun because her boyfriend was in Chan's gang. The Minkyu got really upset because Chan took his little brother twice, talking about Minho and now Seojun, so now he's kidnapped I.N and put him under my care...you know...because of our past..."

Hayoung seemed like any big brother would listening to a sister's story. "Where is he now? Is he here?"

Nayoung nodded. "He's in the basement. Do you think you could talk to him? He refuses to eat any more than one meal a day and he won't say anything at all to me. We had an argument a few days ago, and he hasn't said a word since. Even if he is a hostage, I really do care about him and love him."

Hearing Jeongin's status from her broke my heart in two ways, the man I loved was suffering and another girl, one much prettier than me, said that she loved him. Hayoung smiled at his sister. "Of course I will, Nayoung, but it might be better for the conversation if you stay here. I'm gonna take y/n with me because she's good at stuff like this, okay? What room is he in?"

Nayoung hesitated for a second hearing that she shouldn't go and another girl should, but she answered regardless. "The room across from where we used to store all the weapons."

Hayoung nodded and led me down the basement, going slowly because of the stairs. Once we were down the stairs, he started telling the others where to go through the earpiece Seungmin had given him as we went to the room Nayoung told us Jeongin was in. Three of the boys, Chan, Felix, and Changbin, got to the room at the same time we did. Hayoung made us stand out of the doorway when he opened it, telling us he wanted to say something to Jeongin before he saw us.

He started speaking as soon as the door was open. "Geez...What did my sister do to you? Is this really how she shows affection?"

Silence.

"Has she broken your soul or something? I bet she told you that they'll never come for you or that they're not even looking for you, right?"

Finally, Jeongin's voice rang out, sounding completely and utterly broken but in a way that sounds physically painful not emotionally. "I don't care about that. I only care that my hyungs and y/n are okay. And didn't you leave the gang a while ago? Why are you here?"

Hayoung laughed a little. "You see, there was this cute girl that called me and asked for me to help her save her boyfriend from my sister in Gimpo. She sounded so desperate that I just couldn't object and came to Gimpo to meet her and save this guy. What a sucker I am, huh? The only cute girl that calls me is asking me to help her save her boyfriend."

The tone in Jeongin's voice changed almost immediately and very dramatically. "Wait, y/n is here? As in, in Gimpo?"

Hayoung laughed, which I'm pretty sure was staged. "Here in Gimpo? She's here in this building. Y/N, come here, and bring those other guys too, would ya?"
