As soon as I saw who was in my hospital room, I rolled my eyes, trying to pretend to still be asleep before he noticed. Unfortunately, I failed.
"Y/N, I know you're awake. You can't fool me so easily. I know you probably hate me. Just let me talk to you for a little bit, okay? I promise I won't do anything, or tell I.N that you have cancer." Seojun seemed to be genuine, but how did he know that the cancer was back?
"How did you know that? Only my family and the doctors should know that." I was now sitting straight up, staring straight at the criminal in front of me. "And who let you in?"
"I overheard your doctor talking to your dad in the lobby. Then I sneaked past them and came up here. Now will you listen?" I rolled my eyes again, telling him he had five minutes, if that because my dad would definitely kick him out or arrest him if he saw him in here. "Okay, so again, you probably hate me, and with good reason, but I want to explain why Taewoo took you like he did. It was because of I.N. When your dad told me that he didn't want me protecting you anymore and I found out that you were dating I.N instead of me, I honestly went into a phase of some depression. He forced me into talking about it, and he made me realize that...I...uh...I genuinely like you. I honestly wanted him to stay as far away from you, but he thought that it would make me happy if he took you so I could be with you 24/7. He also wanted to hurt I.N because he was with you when I liked you."
I took a moment to think about what he said. "So your gang leader kidnapped me because you liked me and I had a boyfriend? That kinda makes me hate your gang even more, but I listened to you, so don't tell anyone that my cancer is back, okay? Or I swear I will get your whole gang arrested, and I have more than enough ways and reasons. Actually, my dad might arrest you now if he finds you in here."
Realizing the danger in being there, Seojun bowed and quickly ducked out of the room with pretty good timing too. About two minutes after he left, my dad and Eunwoo came into the room. My dad looked like he was going to cry when he saw me.
I, on the other hand, smiled. I'd always been a daddy's girl, even if he wasn't around much because of dealing with criminals and such. "Hey daddy!"
My dad sat in the chair that Jeongin had sat in the day before. "How are you feeling, y/n?"
"I feel fine, but where the cancer is hurts pretty bad. Not at much as it did before though." My dad was a chronic worrywart when it came to my health, just like my mom. Unfortunately, I knew that I wouldn't be able to hide how bad it really was. "I feel a bit light headed too, but I think it's just because I haven't eaten. I'm really fine though. I trust Eunwoo oppa."
I saw a slight smile on Eunwoo's face as he continued checking what he needed to. "I will do everything in my power to make sure you live a normal life span."
My dad spent almost two hours in the hospital room, almost falling asleep various times. I assumed that he spent the whole night working or worrying about my cancer. I could tell that it was getting worse just by how much more it was swelling, so I was sure that he and my mom knew. Eunwoo would never keep anything from them, one of the reasons he was such a good doctor.
That afternoon, Eunwoo decided to let me try using crutches to walk, but it was more difficult than it was before I was admitted: another sign that it was getting worse. Upon seeing that I wouldn't be able to use crutches, he left the room after helping me back into the hospital bed. It worried me a little until he came back with a wheelchair.
"I know this sucks, Y/N, but using a wheelchair has got to be better than laying in bed all day." As he spoke, he helped me get into the wheelchair. Once I was situated, he began instructing me on how to use it. When I got it down, he opened the door, propping it open so I could get in and out, and allowed me to wheel myself around the hospital. It was a bit difficult at first, but I eventually got it down.
