" Point, Aim, Shoot, Reload" Nav spoke up.
"Point, Aim, Shoot, Reload. Okay, I got this" I made sure to properly spread my legs and emptied the clip at the target. I've been spending a lot of time with Saint's— well our friends and family. In fact, we're all extremely close and always find little things to do together here and there. Today the shooting range was one of them. I guess you can say life goes on with or without getting the answers you want.
The worker grabbed the target for us and I was pleased with my results.
" Shawty got a whole head tap, no way" Nav spoke up then dropped his jaw causing everyone to laugh.
Chasity walked towards me grinning.
" Oh bitch if they knew you had a lil Saint growing in you they'd be on that ass about you being here." She chuckled. It was true, all the women in my life was well aware I was pregnant. Saint's friends and Dad were worst than blind mice. The main reason I haven't said anything is because I was terrified that something would happened.
Camila always said " If you ever wound up pregnant don't let anyone know you're pregnant until you reach three months or else you'll jinx the baby". It was silly but mama knows best so I decided against telling the world. In fact, I didn't even have to tell my moms or Chasity— they just knew.
Flashback
May 7th, Graduation Day.
" Ambrosine you just graduated debt free, why the hell you keep crying?" Camila spoke up.
" Is it because of my son?" Zora pouted rubbing my shoulder
" His ugly ass not cheating or nothing so don't cry" Sabre wiped my tears. She took Saint's ticket and I wasn't complaining because I've been laughing the entire time after my ceremony because of her.
" I just—" I cried a little harder. I was tired and desperately wanted to sleep with him. My feet were killing me in these red bottoms. I completely played myself— expensive shoes are always the most uncomfortable.
" I'm really fed the fuck up with him. I wish he just learned to fucking listen." I added.
They all stared at me wide eyed before trying to calm me down. My lips began to quiver.
" I miss him." I managed to speak with a cracky voice. Apryl's eye dropped down to my stomach snd she quickly looked away when we made eye contact.
" What u miss the most? The D or the headache?" Sabre joke causing me to crack a smile
" I miss being loved on. He likes me more than everyone else" I sigh.
" Girl you gotta be pregnant if you switching moods like this." Chasity laughed
" I didn't want to say anything BUT maybe you should take a test Audi." Apryl spoke up
" If she's pregnant I'm tracking his ass down my damn self" Camila spat.
" And ill be right there with you girl" Zora added.
" Oh lord, now would be a crazy time to be pregnant. We can't even find him! How are you supposed to make him give you money every day for food and take his card everytime you see something cute online you want?" Sabre frowned
"Well then I guess it's just gonna have to be a crazy time!" I continued to walk toward the restaurant. The sound of my heels and my heels only filled the silence. Turning around I was now face to face with several smiles and jaw drops.
