I smiled calling Ambrosine. The phone ringed and I got nervous. She sighed before she spoke.
" Hello." She spoke tiredly.
" Hey baby, I miss you"
" Saint?! I miss you too!" I could hear her moving around in bed.
" I know baby. I'm gonna be home soon. You know I love you right? I can't say much but I don't want you to be upset with me. I'm sorry."
" I love you too, Can you FaceTime me? I want to show you something!"
" Okay baby."
The phone said connecting and I'll admit I was eager to see her and hopefully the girls.
" Baby you wanna see me but you in the dark? Turn the light on and tell me what's been going on. Its 11am and you in bed. No work?"
She reached over to turn on the light and we both smiled.
" I had a long night I was thr—Did you call me yesterday?" She spoke up.
" Yeah I did. I'm sorry about hanging it up so quickly I just miss you baby, this isn't easy."
" Why haven't you been calling?"
" Couldn't.. Technically still can't but this shit driving me crazy Ambrosine I miss my kids." I admitted.
"Oh.." She smiled
" And you of course. You okay?
" Yea, just tired."
" Alright baby.."
She turned her phone to both girls who were waking up.
" Dada! Dada! Nova yelled.
My eyes watered and I sighed before smiling.
" Why we looking at the ceiling Saint ?"
" Give me a minute."
I quickly wiped my face before picking the phone back up.
" Nov I miss you mamas. What you been up to?"
" Dada! Hi!"
We both bust out laughing. First thing she saw when she sees me is she's hungry. Kids are the worst.
" Nova? You don't miss dada?"
" Nova say I miss you daddy" Ambrosine spoke trying to grab her from getting off the bed.
" Dada! Miss you!" Baby said.
"Aww man let her fat self go. Its good enough for me." I smiled shaking my head.
" Lo up?"
" Yeah she's up. She says mommy now!"
" I know" I smiled
" How so?"
" I stalk you" I joked. Well she thought it was a joke. I was so serious.
