"Yo, did you hear? We have a new kid," my best friend since probably second grade, Changbin, approached me while I was waiting at the bus stop.
"Really? I didn't hear actually," I said back to him, fixing my hair and my leather jacket so I looked a little nicer.
"Yeah. It's a 'he' too," he told me, looking into my eyes and wiggling his eyebrows at me.
"Alright, I might like boys, but every single time you see an attractive boy, you look at me! You don't even know this kid, why are you being weird?" I gestured to his eyebrow wiggling and he smiled simply.
"I saw him a few days ago. I didn't recognize him, so I figured he was new. He had this... red hair that was styled kinda weird, but he pulled it off well," Changbin told me. I wanted more details, but that would just show how interested I was already in this mystery boy.
Soon enough, the bus arrived at our stop and both Changbin and I got on. The bus driver gave me a nasty look and I returned it. He hated me and my crew, but I didn't much care for him either.
We started back to our usual seats, getting either terrified or interested looks from the other students.
The Dogz, my crew, weren't just a group of kids. We were a gang. All of us had a tattoo on our biceps that said "T.D" obviously for our gang name, all of us meaning my friends. We got it secretly obviously. I have my ways around, I know people and that's how I managed to get everyone a tattoo for barely even anything.
It was Lee Minho, the player, Han Jisung, the escapee and tricky one, Lee Felix, the devilishly handsome one, Seo Changbin, the complete badass, and I, the slightly more violent one all in a group together. We stuck together through thick and thin, like real friends should. Whenever the other was in trouble, everyone was there to help, no man left behind.
Felix, Minho, and Jisung were already on the bus, waiting for us to get on too. Jisung sat with Minho, Felix with Changbin, and me by myself, which I was very perfectly okay with. After a few more stops, Changbin excitedly tapped my shoulder, pointing out the window at some kid with his mom.
"That's him! That's the new kid!" he said and I looked at him.
I mean, he wasn't bad looking. I've had better, but I would tap it.
"Eh," I said and turned my body forward again, sighing heavily as I continued to look and watch the boy.
He walked onto the bus a little hesitantly, and I growled. I already knew I didn't like him. I just got a vibe off of him. A smiley, cute vibe. I didn't like it.
The only thing I heard from the conversation between the bitchy bus driver and the new kid was his name.
"O-Oh.. uhhhh.. Kim Seungmin, sir," I heard him say and then I slowly grimaced, my head tilted downwards as I listened.
Kim Seungmin..I don't like it, the name, I mean.
He ended up sitting beside the main bully victim, Yang Jeongin, and I snickered, already knowing that Seungmin too was going down that road. We didn't bully kids, not us. The jocks did. People were scared of us because we were outcasts, but badass outcasts. But we didn't bully people or do anything too bad. We just liked to fight, that's it. Fist fights only, like real men.
I turned away, looking back at Jisung who was chatting the group's ears off. Finally, Felix told him to "shut the hell up, you squirrel bitch" and that did the trick.
When I looked back at the red-headed male, he was staring at my group. I smirked intimidatingly and gave him a little wave. He jumped back into his seat, eyes widened and I snickered softly.
"Dumbass," I muttered under my breath.
When it was time to get off the bus, I gathered my shit and started off, waiting for my friends to follow, which they did.
When I glanced one more time at the new kid, I saw Jeongin link arms with him and skip away. Then he joined the skipping, and they went away together.
Kim Seungmin... watch your back.
