Not like anyone really gives a shit, but the next day, I walked into the school building with fifteen new bruises. Big oopsies.
They were mainly from my dad actually. He came home drunk as fuck last night at like midnight and I was sitting at the kitchen counter, trying to figure out a stupid geometry question that had me stumped for the past ten minutes. He walks in, rips my geometry homework in half and of course, I got pissed.
"Dude, what the fuck?" I looked up at him and him down to me before I stood up. Now we were the opposite; me looking down to him and him up to me.
"Don't curse at me, boy!" he nearly screamed and for a minute, I was scared he would wake up the witch in the other room. But the fact that he ripped my homework and then had the audacity to tell me not to curse at him just ticked me off.
I reached for him, but my dad was too fast for me. He may be shorter, but he is in no way shape or form weaker than me.
I ended up getting the shit beat out of me for the second time that day. How the fuck do you get beat up two times in one day?
I wish I could smile just a little sometimes. I'm always either pissed, depressed, or faking a smile. I want to actually feel joy for once, just one time.
That's why I hate Kim Seungmin.
He feels joy, happiness all the time and I don't get one single drop of it. How does one person seem to soak up all the happiness while I'm just left to wallow in my self-hatred and pity?
This is bullshit, that's what it is.
It's not fair to me that he just gets to experience the one thing that I yearn for. And he gets to experience it all the time, or so it seems I guess. I don't really know anything about him, except that he looks like some... little sunshine boy that just rains happiness on every fucking individual on this goddamn planet.
I hate him.
I hate him because he's happy.
