Lorna told me most of what happened there. It's a place and gathering held together and bound by hatred. It's like a book with each page a despicable mutant hating racist with different ties, assets and plans to kill us off. All of it written and made from the blood amd sacrifice of mutant kind and the too few number of humans who tried to help.
It kind of reminds me of High School the way Lorna told it. About the smiles and alliances. The snobbish group that looks down on the people trying to be unseen and get by with the least amount of suffering.
But those with their noses held up high and the smug sadistic smiles always find their targets now matter how hard they try. People in the past following old hatred and old values and cliché. They'll grow older but be stuck in the never achieving much. Not to mention being ruled and comprised mostly of superiority, greed, bigotry, and acting exactly the same making everyone different suffer.
So exactly the worst parts of high school in a nutshell.
