McKenna's POV:
I still can't believe I said that. I totally didn't mean it. I felt my phone buzzing. I hoped it was Ross but it was Laura. "Hey Laura." I said. "Hey McKenna. If you want you can come by the studio now." Maybe it would make me feel better. "Sure, that would be great." I put on some makeup and grabbed the car keys. Now that I could drive my parents would be getting me a car soon but for now I have to drive their car. It took me about 10 minutes to drive there. I went inside but was nobody there. "Laura, where are you?" I called out. I heard some noise so I went to see where it was coming from. I guess they were filming so I went to look around. I saw a door that said Ross's dressing room so I went inside. There was a bunch of r5 stuff and some electronics. There were also a lot of pictures of him and I. I wish he were still here so I could tell him how I feel. He had some clothes so I put on one of his hoodies and curled up on the couch. About 10 minutes later Laura came in. "Oh, hey! How did you know I was in here?" I asked. "Someone told me they saw you come in here." I nodded. "Are you OK?" She asked. "Yeah, I guess." She gave me a sarcastic look. "C'mon. You're wearing Ross's sweater and sitting in his dressing room." She was right. That is kind of weird. "Ok, so I looked him in the eyes and told him I was over him right before he left. I didn't mean it but he doesn't know that. I don't know what to do." I cried. "Awe. Maybe you should tell him. How come you're against being with him if you love him?" Sure Laura and I weren't close but at least I could talk to someone about it who understands. "Well it's not that I'm against it, it's all the hate that I get if I'm with him. A girl nearly killed me. I'm not even exaggerating. She choked me. I wish everyday that we could be together but we can't." I explained. "I get it. I know what it feels like to be hated on but you need to understand that those people are letting their jealousy get the best of them. You have to try and ignore them because when you beat yourself up with what they say, it's not just you that gets hurt. It's the other person too. Do you get what I'm saying?" She did have a point. "I see what you mean. What should I do though, just wait until Ross gets back to tell him?" I wondered. "I guess. It's not the same if you do it over the phone." She was right. I wouldn't want someone admitting there feelings to me over the phone. We started talking for a while. We got to know each other pretty well. She was a great actress. She even let me run lines with her a few times. I think her and I are going to be really close friends.
-----1 month later-----
Laura and I have hung out everyday ever since the day Ross left. "Hey McKenna, so I was wondering if you wanted to help me out with something?" She asked. "Sure what is it?" She gave me a half smile, which made me worry. "I was wondering if you would be willing to do a couple episodes of the show with us?" I smiled. "Of course. It would be my pleasure. What'll I be doing?" Her smile dropped. "Oh, um. You'll be playing ross's girlfriend." She mumbled. "Really? Must I?" I moaned. "Well it's just that you seem to have a lot of potential in the acting area plus it'll be good for you two. Don't you think?" I get what she was trying to do but I'm not sure about it. "Laura that's sweet that you want this for us but I don't know. I really want to do this but I don't know if it's a good idea. I mean like, should I?" I asked unsurely. "Yeah totally. I can't stand to see you upset. Like, you can hide it very well but in your eyes I can see how unhappy and upset you are about this." I still wasn't really sure. "Sure I'm upset but do you actually think this is a good idea?" She nodded. "Ok, I'll do it." She then screamed. Laura gave me a script and she ran lines with me. "Wow McKenna, you're a great actress." I smiled. "Thanks Laura but your much greater than I will ever be." I complimented. "Laura, can I be honest with you?" I ask. "Sure." I take a deep breath. "Ross is coming back in a month and I don't know. I'm kind of nervous. I haven't talked to him in so long, I won't know how to approach him." I explained. "Just be yourself. He mentioned that you were shy it's ok. I know you can do it. You just need practice. Hold on." She ran out of the room and came back in a few minutes. "Oh my gosh! Is that what I think it is?" I laughed. "Yup. It's a cardboard cut out of Ross and you are going to practice by talking to it." She told me. "Laura, this is crazy. It won't work." I told her. "I'll talk for him. Don't worry." I nodded my head in agreement. "Ok, here it goes. Hey Ross. Um, Can we talk?"
