-----1 year later-----
"It's been a year. A year since things took an unexpected turn. Let me tell you kids, a promise isn't forever. It may seem like the one you love will be the one you spend your forever with because you think that promises are forever but it's all in your head. Take it from someone who thought the same thing a year from today." I told my friend's 14 and 15 year olds. "Thanks for telling us." I smiled. "I must go home now. I have company tomorrow. Bye charlotte." I hugged her and left. So to catch you up on my life today. After I broke things off with Ross, I moved back to Australia. I restarted my life there. I got my own house. I work at a clothing store. It's near my house so I walk there. I am still single. I haven't have a boyfriend since Ross. I tried to date but I couldn't. Ross and I stayed in contact for a bit and then we stopped. I'm pretty sure he was dating some chick named Liz. They make a cute couple I guess. People say they broke up though because he was depressed. I'm not sure. Enough about them though. I'm so excited. My friend Hazel is coming tomorrow. I got home and fed Bella. Yeah, I still have her. She's my angel. Every once in a while I cry since Ross got her for my birthday last year. I decided to see how he is. I went and checked his twitter. They were on tour currently. I saw a bunch of pictures of him and his new girlfriend. She was apparently a famous actress. She was really pretty. I'm glad he moved on. He deserves to be happy. I got teary eyed thinking about him. "Pull it together." I told myself. I made a list of what I had to do tomorrow. It was late at night. I should get ready for bed now. I changed for bed and went to sleep.
-----The next morning-----
I got up at about 8am. Hazel's flight landed at 12. I checked the fridge seeing there was no food. "Looks like I'm going to the store." I told Bella. Yeah, I talk to my dog. She's the only other one here. I decided to go on a run before I went to the store. I changed into shorts, and a sports bra. I put my hair in a ponytail. By the time I got back, it was 9:30. Time to shower I guess. After my shower, I brushed out my hair. It was back to it's old colour. I let it fall naturally. I put on a blue shirt and shorts. I did my makeup, put on my shoes and left. It was a 10 minute drive to the store. I got there and grabbed the things I needed. I just needed one more thing. I went into the sweets section. I love Australian sweets. They are different from American. Just as I was grabbing some, I heard a familiar voice. It was almost too familiar. It couldn't be. "Excuse me. Can you help me? I'm looking for a girl." I turned around and gasped. "Ross...."
