Chapter 6 - youre okay

Peej eventually picked me up but I didn't even realize because my eyes were glued on Dan.

He was walking determinedly towards us.

"Phil you're fucking freezing."

"Dan.."

Peej looked down at me and spun around.

"Phil what the fuck-", Dan disappeared.

"What?"

"There was a figure walking behind me in your glasses!", I only smiled.

"You saw him.."

"Dan's here?", as he said that there was a figure standing in my window.

"Yes.", Peej looked over at my window and gasped.

"That's him! Isn't it!?"

"Wanna say hi?", I ran inside and took off upstairs, Peej close behind me.

I opened my door seeing Dan standing next to my window. He was soaked.

"Where is he? Is he here?"

"Yes.", Dan walked closer to me.

"I need to talk to you.."

I nodded.

"My dads here, gotta go dude!", Peej hugged me and ran out, leaving me with Dan.

"What's up?"

"Can I-I uh, sleep here with you? That house is nothing but a curse to me."

"Of course, just make yourself at home."

Dan walked over to my bed and sat down.

"Phil, about the ki-"

"Phil!", my father burst through the door with a angry expression.

"Yes father?"

"What did I say about you and guys behind closed doors? I won't allow it."

"Sorry Father, it won't happen again."

"Damn right it won't."

My father stormed out leaving me walking to my bed, sitting down, and letting out a breath of relief.

"Phil."

Crap, I completely forgot about Dan.

"Y— sorry", I cleared my throat, "Yeah?"

He was looking down at my bruised skin.

"Does your dad-"

"Did they ever catch him?"

"Excuse me?"

"The killer, did they ever catch the killer?"

"No, I don't even kn-know who it is..", Dan shook his head and glared at me, "HEY!"

"Goodnight.", I turned over in bed and ignored Dan's whining..

Until it stopped.

I rolled over to look at him.

He was sleeping, he looked very peaceful.

Until he wasn't.

And he started screaming.

"Dan!", I grabbed his flailing arms and pinned him to my bed, "Dan! Wake up! You're okay!", Dan's eyes shot open and rested on me.

"Ph-Phil?"

"You're okay.", Dan cuddled up next to me.

"Phil I can't take it-"

"I know Dan, just know I'm here when you wake up, okay?", Dan looked at me with a look of disbelief.

"Swear."

"I swear."
