Chapter 3 - Dan Howell

ᴾᴸᴱᴬˢᴱ ᴸᴵᴷᴱ ᴬᴺᴰ ᶜᴼᴹᴹᴱᴺᵀ!!!

Peej finally got to my house.

I showed him into my room and closed the door behind me.

"Alright spill."

"Well, the Howell house..", Peej avoided eye contact, "home to Daniel James Howell, his parents, and his younger brother."

"And??"

"And basically one day a neighbor that cared for the family didn't hear from them for days so she went inside and discovered them."

"Discovered?"

"They were murdered, all of them."

"W-what happened?"

"Parents were shot in the head while sleeping, little brother was upstairs suffocated, and Dan-"

Anxiety was building up.

"Dan what?"

"Dan's body was never found, they looked all over, so they gave up."

"D-do you have a picture of Dan?"

"I'll pull up an article.", Peej quickly typed something and immediately handed me his phone.

I looked down at the photo and saw Dan.

My Dan.

Forest Dan.

Dan the shy forest kid.

Excuse me he's dead?

"Tell m-me more.."

...

I sat with Peej for hours. We talked about Dan, Dan's family, and his house.

Peej told me exactly how to get to it.

He said since the house was in the middle of the forest it was untouched.

Dan's body was never found.

I was trying to wrap my head around it. The fact that Dan was dead and the fact that I am friends with a ghost.

"Just go straight until you see a tree with a purple star, then go left of it.", I was following Peej's directions to Dan's house.

Then I saw it, So I did it, I went in.

Everything was destroyed.

It looked as if it was burned.

I investigated.

I searched the kitchen area, front room, the big room to where I'm assuming Dan's parents were murdered, and finally.. Dan's little brother's room.

I felt uneasy.

Then there was a noise behind me.

"You shouldn't be here."
