I woke up the next morning with Dan against my chest.

My heart beat intensified.

"Phil your friend is here!"

Friend?

"Friend?"

Dan's awake.

"I'm not sure..", Peej then walked through the door.

"Hi Phil! Hi Da- DAN!?"

"You can see me?"

"I CAN HEAR AND SEE YOU?!"

"Does that mean he believes?", I spoke up in surprise, I actually felt kind of.. sad.

Does this mean that Dan isn't all mine?

WHAT WAS I THINKING!?

I started slapping myself, hard. In fact I didn't stop until a pair of arms wrapped around me.

Dan.

"Stop that!", he looked pissed, "I can't stop your dad but I can stop you! I won't let you injure yourself."

No, I was only slapping away the thoughts.

"Phil, what is Dan talking about?"

"Nothing!", I ran to my bedside drawer so I could grab my glasses but they weren't there.

Where did I put them?

"I lost my fricken glasses.."

"Retrace your steps?"

Retrace my steps?

Retrace my steps.

Retracing steps.

"I GOT IT!"

"Already?"

"N-no!", I turned to Dan, "I know how to help you!", Dan looked confused.

"Help me?"

"Yes! Help you find the murder! But you need to work with me, Alright?"

"O-okay."

...

"Okay what's the plan Philly boy?"

"You're helping Peej?", he nodded.

"What do you mean help? What are you planning?", Dan looked worried but interested and content.

"You remember."

"W-what?"

"Do you remember your dreams?"

"No."

"Then I have a plan."

"Which is?"

Peej only listened to us.

"Well you'll take Peej and my hand so that I could use both of your guys energy to enter your dream."

"Th-that's a great idea!", Peej squealed.

Dan only smiled with tears in his eyes.

But that was short lived.

"Wait..", we both looked at Dan, "what will happen when this succeeds?"

"You'll be able to pass on."

"I- okay."

"Let's get started?"
