Thankless

I just love luxuries, I mean don't we all?

Like cars, food, books, big rooms, phones, laptops, tv, and stuffed animals (okay that's probably just me)

And these things (well for some of you not having stuffed animals) are basically part of your everyday life. Of course once in a while you even update it like iPhone 4 to iPhone 5c , Toyota to BMW (for those who've been saving up) , MacBooks, 55 inch- plasma screen tv and lets not get started on the food.

You have to say we're pretty blessed and fortunate. I mean even though small or big houses we're all pretty rich even those who don't have iPhones (and come up with an adult name who doesn't have a phone) still pretty fortunate.

I mean I' m only looking at the luxury of our lives on top of that some people have great friends and families.

So we're prettty blessed.

Now where am I going with this?

Honestly Idk but I know its going towards the people who complain a lot and also for us to realize that we are tooooooo fortunate.

I mean I could cry just thinking about it.

Because well lets go to the Quran and Sunnah,

This is what I believe :

Allah will ask every single luxury in life He's given us.

Not only from all the delicious food but even to every single grain,

From every plushy pillow to every chair,

From a touch and water comes

And the safety of our houses.

We never really realized how each and every little thing is a blessing.

And we take everything for granted

Besides our wealth even our health is blessing.

Whenever I get sick or have fever, or toothaches, stomachaches, headaches ( which alhamdulilah I don't experience that much) I remind myself that just being healthy is a blessing

Can you imagine just having any aches for a whole week/month/year?

Allah gives us perfect health which we don't realize until trial comes , you never really see how important it is until its gone (for health-wise).

No we are soo fortunate

We have food, family, the safety of our home, technology, isn't that what everyone wants?

Yet we were chosen out of many millions of people who have never seen a phone in their life!

So we take everything for granted, and the real problem is

We never really thanked Him,

We never really realized that each and every single blessing comes from Allah.

We have to thank Him so much , to the point when our ankles swell,

When you think about it, do you really thank Allah everyday? Maybe you just keep in a couple Alhamdulilah's but that's about it beside the daily 5 prayers (worship).

I remember I read this thing online which said;

" If you had a day which you only had things which you said alhamdulilah for your whole life...."

Meaning like lets say today if I think about I said "Alhamdulilah" twice from drinking water for example,

So one day if I only had things which I'd say "Alahmdulilah" from, all I'd have is 2 cups of water!

For those who still don't get it, sorry I'm not that amazing at explaining but basically we

Are pretty thankless,

Allah deserves all of our time and worship, to be only devoted to Him.

You know what really sucks? Is that once you get into your blessings you're stuck in the dunya. That's sad and really scary.

When all you seem to do is put money and time into luxuries. Like cars, phones, movies; it's like your life revolves around entertainment.

So we should realize that each and every little thing is a blessing and thank Allah for it almost every minute of the day, rich or poor, you have to think of people who have less.
