I cannot tell you how...well upset I get when Muslims say "Science leads to Atheism."

I mean first let me start off by saying this is Quran AND Science not VERSUS it's AND. I never understood why they had always religion VERSUS science. I find that extrememly strange.

I mean if you claim that your religion is the best, completely from God then it must pass the tests and one of them is science.

First of all, as I mentioned before, the Quran does not contradict with ANY science. It is 100% accurate out of 80% of the quran. The remaining 20% is ambiguous, meaning science is not advanced enough, like we don't know for sure whether it exists or not. So as a logical person, you would naturally assume the remaing 20% is correct.

Islam does not go against science at all, neither does its teachings. So to say that Quran VERSUS science is absolutely wrong. Especially the quran, being a book of miracles, has scientific facts that were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) 1400 years ago, where science has only been discovering from the last decades, even now.

Okay so now the fact that someone says "Science leads to Atheism" is so wrong.

I mean I don't even know how to start.

Okay I'll start with YOU. If you believe that then why are you still studying science? No seriously why? Because if you say it leads to Atheism or away from Islam and your still studying..well I don't know about your imaan but that does not sound right. Even if you don't like science, don't know it, or your being forced (by our beloved parents) then WHY don't you tell your parents or teachers (for those teachers that are muslims).

Because it's wrong. What are you gonna do? Run away from science? Don't study the origins of life, it'll mess up your imaan (note the sarcasm).

How can you say that when in the Quran itself, Chapter 29, Surah Ankabut, Verse 20 says:

"Say (directing to Muhammad peace be upon him) , Go about in the land and look how He (Allah) has originated the creation. Then Allah will create the subsequent creation. Surely Allah is powerful to do everything."

My Lord and your Lord, Himself is telling you; Go, go and dig the Earth look and you will see and understand how Allah created HIs creation!!

Science is a good logical way of thinking. We are in the age of technology where science now days is you know is what almost everyone knows it's like a fact.

So science goes with Islam perfectly.... I know what your gonna think next.

"But what about the theory of evolution, where apes become man??"

For those of you who think you know everything, you don't. What about the theory of evolution? First of all you have to STUDY it in order to make a claim like that. If all you know is that apes become human then you are entirely wrong.

Darwin's theory was about natural selection and adaptation (as you know he went to the Galapagos Islands, for those who don't you can do a little research) . In his book "The Origin of Species" he proposed an idea as the theory of evolution. Later he wrote a letter to his friend, Thomas Thompkin, saying that he only proposed the idea beause he finds it easier to explain the natural selection and adaptation.

Many modern-day scientists reject this theory, they find it impossible. May I remind you, it's only a theory! Science itself says that, science is self-correcting, it's not always true. That's what theory itself explains: "Scientific theories are a well-tested explaination over broad statements of hypothesis (helps EXPLAIN and predict for the future) and is repeatedly confirmed through observation and EXPERIMENTATION". It's funny how we can't test the theory of evolution beause it needs a big era, or looked over a time frame. It's mainly based on observation while the bacteria stayed bacteria, finches stayed as finches (a type of bird), sooo humans STAY as humans.

Boom. Just disproved a scientific theory 'cuz theory of evolution means a change from one KIND to the other. (Correct me if I'm wrong).But anyways going really off topic.

Science does not go against Islam or quran, it just doesn't know like it's not within science to prove whether God exists or not. It's like a whole different dimension.

Albert Einstein once said " science without religion is lame, religion without science is also lame".

Yes, science can bring hearts of imaan closer to Allah. It doesn't take you away. You just come to realize that science supports the oness of Allah. It's really beautiful. It shows the marvelous creation of Allah.

There are spiritual people and intellectual people and muslims are in between.

You should believe that science brings you more to the faith, and the more it brings you to faith the more it brings you to study science.

May allah guide us and give us the knowledge so we can implement.
