*Connor’s POV*

Her face was the most amazing thing, she read over the ticket and her eyes lit up with each word. I knew she’d never been abroad before so I wanted this to be special.

The ring has arrived and let me tell you, it’s absolutely stunning. Trust, commitment and love are cornerstones of a healthy marriage. The fourth is much more expensive, tangible and downright shiny: the engagement ring. That’s why I wanted it to be perfect for her.

The flights are booked for tomorrow, I’d already packed my stuff and Ava’s just finished hers. We had to leave early as the flight was at two in the morning.

“I told Bradley by the way” Ava came behind me, trailing her case behind her.

“About what?”

“The baby”

“shit” I murmured.

I didn’t want her to tell Brad, I knew he’d flip.

“What did he say?”

“He was happy for us” she smiled

“He was?” I was actually surprised; normally Brad’s the smart one so he’d have a lecture about how we’re too young or some shit.

“Yeah, he was”

Ava carried her bag down the stairs before running to the bathroom.

“Fuck sake” she groaned.

“Baby, it’s fine” I whispered, rubbing her back.

“I can’t put up with this” she laughed

“No even for Alex?” I whined sarcastically

“Okay, for Alex”

“I love you” I kissed her head

“I love you too”

When the clock turned ten to twelve, we set off. The airport was about five minutes away so it wouldn’t take long.

After checking in and going through security, Ava and I sat in costa. I ordered a coffee and she got her usual, chocolate creamy cooler.

“Should have brought my fan” she laughed

“there’s going to be loads of fans and stuff there, don’t panic”

“Okay, I just. I haven’t even been on a plane”

“I’ll hold your hand” I winked

“Great, thanks” she sarcastically smiled

Take off was hilarious, Ava had her eyes shut and a tight grip on my hand. Her breathes was deep and fast, almost as if she was giving birth.

After all the drama, we landed. The flight was nine hours long and I slept for most of it.

“I’m hungry” I whined, I didn’t get chance to eat on the plane, not that I wanted any of their chicken curry or anything.

The hotel was amazing, it was directly across from sea world, as I wished, and it was perfect for our stay.

“Thank you so much Connor” she kissed my cheek before falling onto the bed.

I copied her and slumped myself next to her. Although I’d just slept for about seven hours, I managed to somehow fall asleep, right there.
