*Ava’s POV*
“I have something I need to discuss with you” Connor sat down next to me.
When he had his serious face on, it scared the living hell out of me.
“Okay” I placed the paper I was reading down and moved to face him.
“You know the other day when I went to the studio with Brad”
“Yes” my brain was overthinking, like it always does, running over everything and anything he could possible want to discuss with me.
“Well, Brad wanted to tell me something, he wanted to tell me that we’re going on tour, for a full year”
I felt the fear rise in me, this hadn’t crossed my mind.
I was engaged to someone from a popular boyband.
“Before you panic, I told him no. we then discussed the issue further and came to an agreement. A six month tour, however, he suggested that you come with us?”
I hesitated with myself, touring with Connor would be amazing but touring with the rest of the boys wouldn’t be so amazing.
I have my work to do and a house to run, I need my doctor scans and in case of any emergency I need the nearby hospital.
“Con I can’t, I’m pregnant, I know you suggested this so I don’t feel alone or anything whilst you’re gone but I’ll be fine. I’ll be lonely but I will manage”
“I can’t leave you, you need to come with me. I can’t not go with the band either. My family is very important but if I don’t do this I’ll be kicked out the band and that’ll mean I’ll be unemployed, with my gcse results and no collage degree I won’t find another good paying job”
“I understand but I don’t want to come with you, you need to go but I don’t. I need the hospital here and the scans and everything”
“Are you sure about this?”
“Positive”
He sighed before embracing me.
“How long until you go” I whispered into his neck.
“Four weeks”
I have four weeks left with my fiancé before he gets whisked off around the world for six months.
We just stood there hugging, neither of us knew what to say or do.
“You know I’d stay if I could” he finally spoke.
“I know”
“I want to be with you during this time but it’s not possible if you don’t come”
“I’m going to be fine, you’re the one I’m worried about. Don’t overdo it on the stage” I laughed
“How did I get so lucky, look at you, you’re beautiful and you’re my fiancé? How did this even happen”
“I fell in love with you” I giggled
“I fell in love with you too”
I glanced down at my hand, the ring fit me perfectly and was just stunning. It’s more than I could have even dreamt about.
“It’s beautiful isn’t it?” he asked, holding my hand in his.
“It is” I agreed
“It wasn’t cheap either” he chuckled
“I can imagine, this thing weighs a ton” I laughed
“It sure does” he winked
He took my hand in his and sat us both down on the couch before attaching my lips to his.
“Better make the most of this time whilst we can” he smirked.
Let’s just say we ended up in the bedroom, clothes thrown on the floor and a stuffy room.
