Chapter 6

CH 6

Melody's pov.

I walked to my room in CC's clothes and new underwear while holding the towel and Juliet's bathing suit. I then knocked on the door and Juliet opened it for me.

Juliet: did you have fun at the pool with CC?

Melody: yeah and thank you for the bathing suit where should I put it?

Juliet: I got it.

I walked in. Andy was on his bed. He sat up when I walked towards him.

Andy: whose clothes are those?

Melody: CC's.

Andy: okay.

Juliet: when did you get the new underwear?

Melody: Ashley got it for me.

Juliet: that's new.

Andy: very, considering its Ashley.

Juliet: anyway you wanted to talk to us?

Melody: yes, let me get my briefcase.

I got off the bed and got the briefcase and went back and sat in front of them both with it. I unlocked my briefcase.

Andy: what's in there?

Melody: money, important papers, pictures, memoirs, and then this I think I should give to you.

I passed them my passport. Andy took it, Juliet took a glimpse at it and then looked back at me.

Melody: since you're my parents now I thought you should have my passport now.

Juliet: Melody thank you for trusting us with your passport it means a lot to me that you did that.

Melody: wait and I also want to tell you what I have in here so then you would know and then not keep wondering.

Andy: okay then... what's in there?

Melody: I have picture of Elian, Nanda, my biological parents, and ... my sister.

I took out the picture of them when I was telling them. When it came to my parents picture I felt a lump in my throat. Once I saw my sister picture I choked up on my words and felt tears coming. I gave the picture to them.

Andy: you really loved them didn't you?

Melody: I mean they all had their flaws but yeah... I still loved them.

Juliet: aw please don't cry you're going to make me cry.

Melody: I'm trying but it's hard. Anyway I still have one more thing.

Andy: what else is there?

Melody: I also have some town papers that states that I own my house and things along that line.

Juliet: okay anything else?

Melody: some memoirs from them, and my money.

I pointed to the picture of my family the little memoirs I had that reminded me of them. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I closed my eyes and the tears slowly rolled down my cheek. I opened my eyes and held my breath trying to keep it in for as much longer as I could. I grabbed the photos and put them back into the briefcase. I closed the briefcase and locked it. I grabbed my phone and ran to the bathroom. I heard Andy and Juliet run after me. I closed the bathroom door and sat behind it. I dialed Loly's phone. She answered.
