chapter two

JULIET'S POV.

It was four in the morning and the sun was beginning to rise. I got up and walked to the shower and once I finished I put on my grey, off the shoulder shirt and white shorts. I then wore my black heels. I then started to put on some makeup. After I finished Andy was already awake and then went to shower. He then came out with a white batman shirt and black pants.

Juliet: good morning. Are you ready?

Andy: yep let's go.

We walked out of the hotel room and to the parking lot. We climbed into the car. Andy then began to drive. There was traffic on the highway, good thing we had about an hour to get there and we only had ten miles to drive.

Juliet: I'm nervous what if she doesn't like us?

Andy: of course she likes us.

Juliet: I don't know I just feel like she doesn't want to be adopted by us.

Andy: if she didn't want to be adopted by us she would have said something by now.

Juliet: okay.

Andy: don't be nervous we got this and I'm sure that she likes us.

Juliet: okay.

Andy: so I was thinking about how we are going to introduce her to Jinx, Jake, CC, and Ashley.

Juliet: okay what did you think of so far?

Andy: that maybe If she is up to it tonight we can take her to the hotel and we can have dinner together. Then maybe Melody can get more comfortable with us and when adoption is done and she is ours she won't be so overwhelmed. She can sit in between you and me just in case because she has known us the longest.

Juliet: I like your idea but can we even take her out?

Andy: I mean I hope so because she is fifteen.

Juliet: we will ask after her whole hectic day is done because she might be exhausted and might not want to.

Andy: yeah of course. We are here and it's five forty. We are on time.

Juliet: let's go.

Andy and I parked our car and knocked on the door and Vanessa the orphanage owner opened the door.

Lady: this is great you are early. Melody isn't awake yet but I have to wake her up in twenty minutes. Please come in.

Andy: how did Melody sleep last night?

Lady: she fell asleep at one in the morning after playing on the guitar. So far she hasn't woken up but I haven't checked on her yet.

Juliet: can we go see if she's okay?

Lady: of course I'll show you to her room

I grabbed Andy's hand as we walked behind Vanessa. We then stood in front of this door. Vanessa then opened the door and turned on the light. Andy checked his phone.

Andy: it's about to be six in the morning she only had about five hours of sleep. How is she going to do everything today?

Lady: I wonder the same thing every weekend.

Juliet: she's starting to move in her sleep.

Lady: I think she might be going through a nightmare, there goes another day with a nightmare.
