Chapter 16

CC'S POV.

Melody: well...

Jinxx: you don't have to answer if you aren't ready.

Melody: but I do want to tell you all.

CC: then let's hear it, soldier.

Melody: soldier I thought I was a jelly bean?

CC: you are but you're a soldier as well because of all your battle wounds.

Melody: let's just say life isn't easy and others had to take it out one way or another sometimes myself sometimes not.

Juliet: whoa what do you mean others?

Melody: girls at the orphanage aren't the nicest and sometimes I couldn't deal with everything if that makes any sense at all.

Ashley: it makes sense but why would you hurt yourself if others already hurt you enough.

Jinxx: it's in the past she doesn't need to give a reason.

Jake: plus she isn't with all those mean girls now. Melody is with us.

Melody: and if you guys don't mind then I can go into pools with a bikini or such.

Juliet: I don't mind at all I just want you to know that we are here for you.

Melody: I know you guys are.

CC: hey jelly bean want to watch a movie?

Melody: sure what movie.

Andy: How about batman.

Melody: sure I've never watched a Batman movie before.

Andy: what! Have you ever watched Batman before?!

Melody: nope not that I remember at least.

Andy: let's all watch a batman movie.

Everyone got up and walked to the back lounge. I held my hand out so then Melody can stand up again. I walked right behind her and then we all got comfortable and we began watching a batman movie that Andy chose. Melody was sitting next to me and was laying on my chest, her legs were on top of Jake's lap. The movie then began. Once the movie was over Melody was asleep. It was only about five in the afternoon, we all moved and gently laid Melody on her back so then it won't hurt her cuts. We couldn't exactly make the back couch into a bed without moving Melody. We left the door open and left her there. We all walked out and we went to the front and ate dinner. Then I heard a loud THUMP. Juliet and Andy were the first up and both ran to the back.

I walked in and I saw Melody on the floor holding her head. I think she just fell off the couch. Juliet and Andy were helping her up. Jinxx was setting the bed. Cleaned up everything that was on the floor such as a bloody shirt and gauze. Melody was laying on her, now bed. I waved bye because we were all leaving her to go back to sleep.

Melody: CC stay.

CC: aren't you going to go to sleep?

Melody: please stay until I go to sleep

CC: why?

Melody: I don't want to be alone.

CC: why not?

Melody: because I had a nightmare before I woke up hitting my head. Please stay until I go to sleep CC, please.

CC: if you want I can tell Juliet or Andy.
