Chapter 15

Juliet's POV

Ashley: Melody why is there so much blood seeping from your shirt.

Melody: it's not that bad it could be a lot worse.

Juliet: Melody you're shirt is practically completely stained in blood now.

Andy: did you do that to yourself?

Melody: not all of it.

Jake: why would you? You don't need to hurt yourself.

Andy: why would you do that?

Jinxx: how many times did you do that you're bleeding a lot.

Juliet: we need to clean this up. Melody, take the shirt off so we can treat it.

Melody: okay.

Melody took her shirt off and you could see about eight scars reopened. And the rest of her battle wounds on her scarred abdomen. Her skin was stained red due to the amount of blood. Andy came back with a wet cloth, and Jinxx came back with a first aid kit. Jake came back with a box of gauze and a wrap-around bandage. Ashley helped Juliet and Andy try to clean Melody with the wet cloths. Every single time someone slightly touched Melody she would flinch in pain. I know they were only trying to help her but she was in more pain now. Melody was trying to ask them to stop but no one cared to listen.

CC: Guys!!! Stop don't you see you're hurting her more!?

Melody: thank you CC.

Jinxx: but if we don't help her she can get a bad infection.

Melody: I never asked for your help.

Jake: we are helping you because we care for you.

Melody: I understand that but you are all only making it worse.

Juliet: I'm sorry about this but don't you want to heal it?

Melody: yes, but I can do it by myself.

Melody stood up and more tears came out because it obviously hurt her more. Once she was on her feet more blood began dripping. I grabbed all the wet cloths, first aid, gauze, and bandage. Melody walked to the back and I followed after her. I closed the door behind me.

Melody: I thought you weren't going to be there for me when they found out.

CC: well I changed my mind. Now how exactly are you going to clean that up?

Melody: I don't know usually when I stain a shirt I throw it out.

CC: I'm not talking about the shirt.

Melody: oh, my stomach well I'm going to clean it with a wet cloth spray hydrogen peroxide let it breathe, wipe out the puss. Then let it breathe for twenty minutes then put some gauze over it then wrap it all together with the bandage.

CC: well here's the wet cloth.

Melody: thank you CC.

CC: you're welcome

Melody: I'm talking about helping me out even when you said you wouldn't

CC: I mean what kind of string bean would I be if I didn't help my jelly bean out?

Melody: surprisingly enough, that made sense.

CC:  just don't pass out.

Melody: I won't.

CC: just be careful you are losing a lot of blood.

Melody: it's fine.

Melody finished cleaning up the blood and was now applying the hydrogen peroxide. A little bit of pus began oozing out of the cuts. Melody let all the pus ooze out, after ten minutes she wiped away the pus and re-applied hydrogen peroxide. Then she placed gauze to cover the re-opened cuts.

Melody: can you please help me with the bandage?

CC: sure.

I helped Melody out and bandaged the gauze over her re-opened cuts. Once I was done she put on a different shirt. I couldn't help it but a few tears slipped out.

Melody: don't cry it's going to make me cry.

CC: just seeing all the blood and you cry it's all overwhelming.

Melody: life tends to hit you when you least expect it, sometimes good other times not so much.

CC: you need to eat before you pass out. Let's get you some food.

Melody: okay.

I grabbed Melody's hand and we walked back to where everyone was. Everyone had tears falling down their cheeks. Jake already was making a sandwich for Melody to eat. Jinxx passed Melody a water bottle.

Andy: I'm sorry that in the chaos of everything we only ended up hurting you.

Melody: It's okay you didn't know.

Melody hugged everyone. It was like the night she passed out. Melody appreciates us she cares for us all, even when things don't go right her love will always shine through. She sat on Ashley's lap and ate her sandwich. She leaned her head on Ashley. Melody is so young yet, she handles everything well.

Melody: stop feeling so guilty it wasn't your fault.

Ashley: but I made you bleed.

Melody: yes but because of that I have fewer things to hide from you all, so in a way thank you, Ash.

Ashley: Shorty, you got some balls you know that?

Melody: how so?

Ashley: you were bleeding badly and yet you were able to get up take care of yourself. I swear I was expecting to take you to the hospital soon enough.

Jinxx: keep eating though we don't want you to pass out because of dehydration or lack of nutrition.

Melody: Thank you all

Andy: And you thought go-karting was going to kill her.

Juliet: well excuse me for trying to keep her safe.

Jake: little did we know that tickles would cause her more pain.

Ashley: yeah like after crashing against everyone and everything on the course I didn't expect tickling to be the problem here.

Juliet: Melody between you and I, is there anything left that I don't know?

Melody: maybe one or two things.

Andy: What about us?

Melody: maybe three or four things.

Andy: okay.

Ashley: Just one question, why are you scarred so badly?

Melody: well...
