AU where Taehyung's a cashier and Jimin's a regular customer. Hi to all the readers thnx 4 reading really appreciate it keep going haha

It's a boring day and Taehyung's feeling lazier than ever. The sun was too hot on his skin, too bright in his eyes. His co-worker Yoongi was already sleeping in the lounge room. He's jealous; he wants to sleep too! But Manager Kim might scold him. Sighh...

He's woken from his thoughts by the little bell ringing and his gaze goes to the customer. His wide eyes then go back to its original size after realizing it's the regular boy. He's been coming here for a week and always buys the same things: two cups of instant ramen, five water bottles, three pull-out boxes of tissue and a stick of gum. Nothing more, nothing less. And it seems to always take him fifteen minutes to complete the task. Not that Taehyung's a creep. It's just that when your store practically has no customers it's hard not to count numbers of a certain person.

The guy has messy brown hair and small hands. He also has short fingers with lots of rings which complement his everyday attire. Not to mention the constant backward sweeping of his hair. Again, he's not a stalker. He just takes note of really small details. And he has nothing to do so blame his boring life.

He didn't realize he was staring off into space when the boy approached his register. Oh yeah one tiny detail he forgot: he always goes to Taehyung's spot. The reason: unknown.

"Hey there," he greets with a monotone.

Taehyung starts to scan the items. "Busy day?"

The other boy shrugs. "Not so much. I'm just bored out of my skull."

He chuckles. "Yeah me too."

"Kinda obvious what with you staring at me," he tells Taehyung, who nearly chokes on his own spit.

The customer giggles and then elaborates further "I always get this creepy feeling that I'm being watched. Not that I'm labeling you as a creep but I'm almost always right. But since your eyes have this sort of glazed look I allowed you. You didn't seem dangerous." He finishes this with a kind smile.

Never in his life did Taehyung feel so dumbfounded that he lost all thought and speech. But once his brain did start to work again apologies tumbled out his mouth, blushing all the while.

But he's stopped by a hand in his view. Still he feels so guilty and embarrassed at being caught red-handed like that. It was supposed to be observation. Not downright staring. Ugh he's such an idiot.

"Hey dude relax. I'm not calling the police or something," he tells him, traces of the smile still there.

He takes a few moments to collect himself, and when he does he finds out he's done with the items. He hands the bag to the other, who takes it. After a short wave he walked out the automatic doors.

He hears a few clicks of the tongue and it's to see Yoongi looking at him disapprovingly. Taehyung scowls.

"Shut up hyung."

"I didn't say anything yet."

"Well better to stop it before you throw the truth at my face."

Yoongi goes to his own counter and starts rearranging things to look more presentable. While fixing his pen collection he offers "Wanna hear my opinions on the matter?"

The answer is quick: "No thanks."

Still the older smirks. "Too bad. I wanted to tell you anyway. You are so lame. The guy's been coming here for what, seven days? And you act and blush like an idiot."

Taehyung's retort reflects his personality. "Well I am an idiot!"

Yoongi slaps his forehead. "Not my point. You're just so painfully awkward that everything turns awkward. The guy was cool." After a moment of silence he asks "What's his name?"

Taehyung smirks as he looks back to his hyung. "Why? Gonna ask his number?"

Yoongi frowns. "No idiot I'm gonna set you up on a date! God knows how much you need someone in your life right now."

"What?" The younger's eyes go wide.

"Don't 'what' me Taehyung," is what the older tells him as he organizes his notepads. "It's for your own good."

Taehyung's mouth goes dry and his brain shuts down again. His body goes a little numb and then suddenly, he found out how to use his tongue again. "Well too bad since I don't know his number. I don't even know his name."

A door to the far side of the room opens and the duo's argument is cut short. Seokjin appears wearing a scowl and he focuses his gaze on his two employees.

"What's all the ruckus here huh? You're both so loud I'm trying to sign papers here."

Yoongi's green head of hair then turns back to Taehyung. "And here I thought I didn't have a life. Manager-nim has it worse." They both chuckle. Seokjin gives a glare before shutting his door.

The next day is the same. But the regular guy comes in the late afternoon. Yesterday it was 10:34am. Not that he's counting or anything.

Taehyung waits fifteen minutes and sure enough, he's walking toward the register. They both smile at each other and he starts to punch in the codes.

"Any happenings?" the guy starts.

He shakes his head. "Not much. You?"

The other beams and Taehyung thinks he needs to start wearing shades because his smile is so bright. "I adopted a cat on my way home."

"Oh really? That's nice," he smiles. Then he notices the slight change of items. It's almost the same except the gum is replaced by a can of cat food. Then suddenly his mouth has a brain of its own cuz he blurts out "Hey I never asked for your name did I?"

The guy smiles in an amused sort of manner and asks back "Isn't it written in the receipts or something?"

"I never noticed." This reply gets a giggle and Tae smiles cuz he's the reason why he's laughing.

He offers a hand. "Park Jimin. And you're Taehyung. I can see from the nametag."

"Kim Taehyung," he introduces so that Jimin gets the surname as well. "Nice to meet ya Jimin." They shake hands.

He nods. "You too Taehyung. Now can I have my bag?"

Oh he's still holding it. He offers it to Jimin and again, he leaves with a wave.

He looks to Yoongi, who weighs his options on the interaction today. The brat was wearing a smirk. Ohh he's gonna punch him. But since he's feeling kinda laidback today he'll let it slide.

"Compared to yesterday, this one was better." He liked the kid's smile. "But you still didn't ask for his number." The smile turns upside down.

"Aw hyung it's too soon. I might end up scaring him away. I gotta take it slow."

"Wow never thought of you as the gentlemanly type."

"Well I am."

Yoongi smirks. "The longest I can offer is three weeks. If you still haven't done anything I'm asking for you."

Taehyung looks affronted. "I think I'm more than capable to ask someone's number."

"Then show me."

"Oh I will."

"Get back to work!" Seokjin shouts from his office. The two pay him no mind.
