To Bed

"Hey I just met you

So call me maybe" Taehyung sang as he held a brush as a faux mic.

"And all the other girls

Try to chase me

But here's my number

So call me maybe" Jimin sang as he held a can of beanpaste as his mic.

The two were the only ones at home since both their moms had to work late. So as usual they had a sleepover at Taehyung's house. Their other friends were busy or out of town because sembreak had just started.

They let the song blast through the speakers as they danced to it, going as far as to tango with the broom and mop.

The song ended and another played on shuffle. Like before, they danced again and did silly stunts.

"You're way too beautiful girl

That's why it'll never work"

Taehyung then sang "You had me suicidal, suicidal

When you say it's over"

After a couple more songs they drank a lot of water and laughed with each other. They sat on the floor to talk about their past experiences and their hopes and dreams, their fears and struggles. One could say they were soulmates because they understood each other completely. If not all the time, most of the time.

After the two-hour talk they stood to again sing and play with each other, holding hands and swinging legs. They laughed a lot and drank a lot of soda.

Once the clock struck ten thirty they decided to change into PJ's and head to bed and then play some more before passing out at one in the morning.

Jimin was first to shower since he was the guest and so went out the bathroom wearing pajamas that had stars as design. Taehyung smiled to himself and decided to copy his older friend by donning a pair that had moons. Jimin smiled at the match and the other reveled in the affection and fondness that radiated off that simple gesture.

"You copycat," Jimin giggled as he wore his fluffy slippers.

Taehyung proudly declared "Your copycat."

The two giggled before settling on the TV to pass the time and eventually snore into each other's mouths.

Jimin plugged in his phone and picked a song by one of their favorite bands BTS.

"Ooh what're you gonna play?" Taehyung asked excitedly as he went into position with a comb this time.

Jimin thought for a moment. "Your call. What do you want?"

"I want Dope," he answers. He gets a nod in response and the duo wait for the weird drum and the jumping sounds.

"Ayo ladies an' gentlemen!" Taehyung shouted.

"If you're ready I'll start yeah!" Jimin follows with a rock star sign, banging his head in the air.

They go to the chorus and start jumping and shouting, even trying to dance the steps they remember and executing it goofily. Laughs and snorts leave them as their sounds echoe through the house and probably the neighborhood.

As they stop to catch their breath Jimin realizes it's already quarter to twelve in the morning.

"Taehyung?"
