Long Day After Work

They had a long day today. At nine am till twelve pm there's a photo shoot. They had to try on all those costumes. Some were bad while others were fantastic. Taehyung could count all the good ones in one hand. But his stylist noonas were kind to smile sympathetically and tell him assurances. Then they had to hurry to a dance practice roughly five hours. They've been practicing on old ones and learning new songs. They ate their lunch in a fast food restaurant then went to a fan signing. Taehyung was really delighted to find fanboys. They were so cute and different from the girls. Shy and reserved but nonetheless happy. Not that he didn't love the girls. It was just nice to experience something new. It was the last thing on their schedules thankfully.

Their manager spoke to them in a voice above a whisper since he knew they were aching and worn out. He told them it's a day off and Namjoon could only nod listlessly, already half-asleep.

Bang PD-nim smiles thinly and looks around the van with nothing to do. In the backseat sat the maknae line all dozing. In the middle was Jimin, whose head kept falling forward and finally resting atop Taehyung's, who was leaning on his best friend's right shoulder. On Jimin's other side was Jungkook who had the same position as his other hyung. They were all sleeping soundly and the manager could only think 'Cute'.

On the seats before them were the rappers with the eldest, save for the leader who was sitting beside the manager. Hoseok was snoring with his head lolling and bumping with Seokjin's wide shoulder, who moaned a bit at the collision and leaned on the window. Yoongi had his headphones on and his eyes drifted open and shut a few times. Hoseok finally fell on Seokjin's lap, the older's hand coming up to instinctively rest atop the younger's hair.

PD-nim turned to the leader napping beside him. They had a really hectic schedule today. He feels sorry they had to go through all that but it's work. He's proud that they managed to pull through but he's even more thankful the boys made it all through with smiles and laughter. They deserve a day-off for working so hard, as always.

After a few more minutes the driver pulls up in front of the hotel. As much as it pains him to wake the idols they surely can't sleep in a dingy van when their rooms are large, luxurious and spacious. It had almost been a blessing they were able to book in a nice hotel. They've been sleeping in low places lately and PD-nim thinks it's not good for their image.

He shakes Namjoon's shoulder and he wakes slowly. He proceeds to rouse the others, starting with Seokjin, who woke Hoseok who woke Yoongi. He then neared the maknae and shook him roughly, disturbing Jimin in the process and unintentionally waking the second maknae.

They all stumbled in and waited sluggishly for the elevator, still tired. Hoseok by now was drooling on Yoongi's shoulder, who fought sleep by scrolling his phone.

As the manager opened the door, the young idols all stagger inside and most head to the couch, a few others going directly to their own rooms, not even stopping to hear the room arrangements. Oh well. Leave them be. He bid goodnight to a half-asleep Hoseok, who mindlessly bumps the other's back in the process.

Taehyung navigates his way toward one of the rooms with his eyes closed, letting his feet lead the way. He opens his eyes a bit and sees a figure all huddled in the blankets wrapped snugly like a burrito.

He pays no mind and throws himself on the bed, toeing off his shoes and snuggling close to this bandmate. As he feels around the other's body, he realizes it's Jiminnie. Oh joy. He smiles unconsciously and closes the distance between their bodies, not allowing any space to come in between.

But a knock comes through the open door and Taehyung looks up groggily to see Seokjin with his hair tousled. His shirt looked a bit rumpled even.

"Taehyung-ah, at least brush your teeth and wash your face. Also change your clothes. Is that Jiminnie? I'll bring your bags right over." He yawns and leaves the doorway.
