Mall Troubles

They're done shooting and Yoongi screams in joy, running around and jumping on Jungkook's back. Seokjin sighs and almost went over to them when he was stopped by Hoseok needing something and the pair walk off the set to look for something Hobi lost. Namjoon is by the corner of the room talking to the directors and thanking them for their help.

But where are Jimin and Taehyung?

The latter is currently on the couch, bangs plastered on his forehead because of his sweat and he lolls his head back to stare at the ceiling. After a few seconds he looks forward again, and through his peripheral vision sees Jimin walk toward him, still in his outfit. They exchange smiles and the older casually sits on Taehyung's lap, him having to adjust to accommodate both of their weights. Naturally Taehyung's arms snake around Jimin's small waist and they smile again. Taehyung brushes his thumb across Jimin's cheek and they giggle softly, amused at their silly antics.

"You tired?" Jimin asks as he cards his small fingers through the other's soft black hair. He doesn't mind if it's sweaty. He doesn't mind any of Taehyung's flaws actually, since those make Taehyung Taehyung.

"Who wouldn't be? But I'm not tired enough to collapse," he adds cheekily, and he receives a slap on the shoulder.

"You shouldn't be joking about things like those," the older warned.

Taehyung just grinned and pulled his soulmate closer. They watch the set in comfortable silence, Taehyung's thumb absentmindedly drawing lazy circles on Jimin's thigh, and the blond playing with the younger's hair near his nape. It's relaxing and soothing really, and Taehyung finds that he wants Jimin to do this more often to him.

He looks at Jimin to find him still staring straight ahead. "Yah." Jimin looks at him, curious. "We should head back to our rooms and change. Jin-hyung might scold us." The other giggles and Taehyung swears it's the best sound in the world.

Jimin gets up from his lap and offers a hand, the younger taking it with no hesitation as they walk back. Really he enjoys when the kid talks about everything, anything and nothing. Even if it's unimportant such as the latest episode in his favorite anime or it's something about shaving cream Jimin doesn't care, so long as he can see Taehyung content and happy. It may sound cliché but when he sees him sad Jimin feels like the world is a little bit darker and gloomier. Is it weird? He hopes it's not. But it's what he feels. So he hopes and prays that he keeps smiling and laughing.

After changing back to their original clothes they hop in the van for lunch. They argue a bit on where to eat, Hoseok wanting something traditional, Yoongi craving for vegetables (for some reason) and Jungkook insisting on fast food. After more decision-making and a bit of disagreements here and there, they finally decide on some rice and Japanese food. After that they go straight home to the dorms.

Jimin's by the couch watching television but not finding anything interesting to watch. There's still a few hours before Seokjin can start on dinner so he decides to go out for a while. He hops off the sofa and clicks the TV off, hurrying to his room to grab his phone and wallet. On the way to his and Namjoon's room, he bumps with someone and almost falls if not for the other to wrap his arms around his waist. Regaining a bit of balance he sees it's Taehyung going in the opposite direction.

"Oh hey Tae," he greets with a smile.

"What's all the rush?" Taehyung asks as they detach from each other. Jimin keeps eye contact with him even as he goes inside his room.

"Uh I'm going out to buy some stuff," he answered as he went inside and was in view again in mere seconds. "Why?"

Taehyung checks his phone for the time. He's bored and Jungkook's busy with video games and he said after that he's gonna listen to Yoongi's music with him so his schedule is pretty full, which is pretty disappointing since he was looking forward to playing with his only dongsaeng. Hopi-hyung meanwhile was sleeping and Tae didn't wanna disturb him since judging by his heavy snores, he's pretty tired.
