A/N: Im running out of ideas help
Books and stacks of papers littered the floor of Jimin's living room. His parents weren't home and he was expecting Taehyung to come and keep him company. Sure enough he does arrive and they study together side by side.
"I don't get this; what's he trying to say?" Taehyung scratched his head.
"Basically that the population is increasing while the natural resources are continuing to decrease," Jimin tells after skimming the book to focus once more on his own work. He was rereading his notes since he wasn't the type to make reviewers.
After an hour Taehyung slumped down on the couch, body falling as groans leave his throat. Beside him the other continues to write diligently and he could do nothing but admire his work.
"Aren't you tired?"
He saw Jimin set down the pencil to remove his spectacles. He rubbed his closed lids. "Actually I am but I can't seem to stop."
"... I wish I could be like you. You're always so hardworking while I'm the type to just laze around. I was never studious."
A chuckle escapes Jimin's mouth. "We're so different yet we managed to stay friends."
"Is that such a wonder?" Taehyung asks aloud. "We met when we were kids right?"
His friend's head turns to him abruptly that Taehyung fears he might break his neck. Wide eyes also stared straight at him. "Are you kidding? We met when we were toddlers."
This makes him sit up straighter, the gears of his mind moving. "What? No I clearly remember we met when we were around ten."
He earns several shakes of the head, Jimin openly disagreeing. "Noo it was when we were around five and our moms were friends and they decided to let us meet up."
Taehyung opened his mouth wide to retaliate. "No! I saw you in the playground and I talked to you. You even avoided me then."
Jimin's brows crunch. "Impossible. Maybe you just have bad memory. Maybe you're thinking about something else."
"No no I swear I'm right. Memory never fails me. How could I forget my first meeting with you?" Taehyung was sure he was the right one.
But Jimin thought otherwise as well. "Well same goes with me. I was so confused when I laid eyes on you. I thought you were my brother."
"Wait how do you even remember that?"
"Feelings is what's best to rely on in situations like this."
Taehyung found another loophole. "Well in my case I was obviously using my brain."
The statement made Jimin's anger flare up. "What?! And you're telling me that emotions are unimportant?"
He shook his head. "I'm merely saying that using your brain is more logical and acceptable in here."
"Logical?" scoffed Jimin. "I'll show you what's irrational." He started to roll up his sleeve and pat his elbow. By this time Taehyung was also working by cracking his neck and knuckles. Oh it's on now.
Before he could get a chance to land in the first blow Jimin threw his whole weight on him with a battle cry, Tae caught off-guard as he settled for wrestling him off his body.
"You little idiot!" Jimin says through clenched teeth.
Taehyung was also grabbing at his arms and trying to pry them off his body. "Get your small paw-like hands away from my neck you- you-"
