The first time I saw him was on a rainy day. I had just finished practicing for a dance then I saw it was pounding hard, the streets being filled with puddles. The sky didn't show any sign of stopping and I sighed frustratingly, cursing the fact that I didn't have any umbrella. But I did wonder how I was gonna get home.

As I resigned myself to the waiting game, I sat on the floor. But then from my spot near the front doors, I saw a black figure. He was... running? Toward the school?

I decided to just wait and see what happens. True enough, he stops when he was under a shade, which happens to be near my spot as well. Since I was seated down, I gazed up. He was in all-black, and he didn't have any umbrella. But he did use his coat as a makeshift one.

He stops to capture his breath and only then did he catch sight of me. I almost laugh when he jumped in surprise but I just smiled amusedly. It was funny really. But being the good guy I generally am, I morph my amused smile into a polite one for greeting.

"You stuck here?" he says to me as he walks inside, stopping near me but careful to give me my space.

"Yep. I don't have an umbrella. You?"

He shrugged. "I came back to get my notebook. We had a homework and I only remembered when I got home."

I didn't say anything since I might say something hurtful. But I can't stop my tongue. "Poor memory?"

To my surprise he laughs a little. "You could say that. Well, catch you later." Then he ran down the halls and I was alone once more, staring at the rain.

I can't help but think he was kinda reckless for coming back here when he reached his house. But since homework was the reason, I guess I could let it slide.

The second time I saw him my mind blanked. I thought I had his character from the first time but turns out he was full of surprises. I was walking with Jin-hyung when I saw a familiar figure on the school grounds, surrounded by two other people. Hyung and I were inside walking the corridors. At first he was just sitting down then suddenly he jumped up and picked up a rock. I thought he was going to fling it to one of the windows but he started picking up two more, then I was confused. Hyung and I stopped to see what would happen next.

He then started to juggle them. Nothing unusual about that. But then he kicked his left foot to the side, his shoe coming off in the process, and joined it in his mini juggle. My eyes widened at the unexpected.

His one companion started to laugh while the other started to tell him something, probably urging him to stop. His shoe dropped to the grass and he finally threw the rocks in different directions. But he was smiling. I didn't know what to make of it then.

The next was when I passed by the music room. There was a window on the door and he didn't see me. He was playing the saxophone. Well okay. Then later he abandoned the instrument in favor of the piano. I stopped to listen but all he did was press random keys. Some were fine while the others hurt my ears. I was about to leave when he played a simple piece by Bach, then he started with the Turkish March, ending with Greensleeves. His musical capability seemed endless.

I was by my open locker, rummaging my bag for a book, when the locker door slammed shut in my face I jumped. When I saw the culprit my heart leapt to my throat in utter shock.

"Hey there." He was smiling. I noticed it wasn't a curve like all the others. Rather it seemed like a square. Unusual but cute.

Unable to speak, I nod wordlessly, all the while aware that my eyes were huge. I still haven't gotten over the initial attack.
