When Rose got home, all she wanted to do was shower. The text messages she had received remained unopened until she was out of the shower and dressed.

She frowned as she heard the front door slam shut, and soon enough, Gemma was bursting into her room. Rose widened her eyes at Gemma's behavior. Though, she can't say she was too surprised.

"Whoa, what's wrong?" Rose scoffed, before grabbing her wet towel and heading to the bathroom.

"You, Rosalie. You're another one of my goddamn problems." Gemma hissed and followed Rose into the bathroom. Rose simply rolled her eyes before hanging the towel over the shower.

"What did I do this time—"

"Your phone! For all I knew you were dead in a ditch, Rosalie!" Gemma yelled. Rose turned around and saw mainly pain in Gemma's eyes, not as much anger. Instead of a witty comeback, Rose held back.

"I'm sorry, okay? Last night was... a long one." Rose shrugged sadly, before walking past Gemma and jumping onto her bed.

"Where were you last night?" Gemma growled, crossing her arms and standing at the end of Rose's bed. Rose wanted to say in a ditch, but decided against it. She was actually quite proud of herself, her self control usually only lasts for five seconds.

"I was at a party with Brea. Stayed the night at the house." Rose yawned, and sat up, looking at Gemma.

Gemma narrowed her eyes, and could tell Rose was telling the truth.

"Well, while you were out partying, Jax is out planning to go nomad!" As soon as the word came out of her mouth, Rose widened her eyes.

"What?" Rose winced. The only person she could think of to blame, was Clay. She stood up from the bed, and paced back and forth for a second.

"Yeah. You two are about to give me a goddamned heart attack—"

"Is it because of Dad?" Rose hissed.

"What?" Gemma winced in disgust.

"It's not like they've been displaying this perfect father and son relationship." Rose hissed.

"Yeah well, you don't do the same either." Gemma mumbled.

"Probably because I'm more likely to choose Jax's side? Yeah." Rose hissed back.

The situation was almost ironic. Gemma VS Rose, and Jax VS Clay. The family was falling apart and Rose couldn't bare it anymore.

"Have you talked to him?" Rose asked.

"Yeah. I think his father is getting in his mind, mainly because of the manuscript." Gemma explained. The manuscript crossed Rose's mind, she remembered how John mentioned her in it. "Have you?"
