- Before Rose decided to go to sleep, she heard her parents talking about Jax.
She was going to knock before she went to grab one of her moms shoes, but decided not to when Jax's name came up.
This was only more to add to the secrets she had to keep. -
"C'mon, get up." Gemma shook Rose awake. "We're going to see Abel."
"Got it," Rose said sleepily, sitting up to stretch.
An hour later, she was dressed and curling her hair. She was wearing a tank top and skinny jeans with heels. The only difference from her and her mom is that your wore a sweater-like cardigan. Gemma's was almost leather. Rose quickly grabbed another gun from her vanity drawer, and stuck it in the back of her jeans.
"You ready?" Her mom banged on the door, opening it anyways.
"Yeah, yeah." Rose said turning off the curling iron.
She grabbed her purse and dance bag, following her mom out to the car.
"Luann is meeting us there," Gemma explained while Rose looked out the window quietly. She thought about what Brea said.
She thought about Esai.
She thought about school.
She thought about the club.
"You okay?" Gemma frowned, snapping her back to reality.
"Yeah. Just tired." Rose grinned.
"Well, wake up, auntie." She grinned happily.
"Alright, grandma." Rose laughed as Gemma playfully hit her arm.
Luann was there before Rose and Gemma, each of them said their hello's.
"Wow, Gemma. She looks more and more like you everyday. She just needs the highlights." Luann giggled.
"Tell me about it. She's in my goddamn closet whenever she gets the chance." Gemma grinned as they all sat down in the waiting room.
Soon enough, Tara was walking towards them.
"Abel's stomach surgery went well. But it's putting a strain on his system. Dr. Namid doesn't want to wait. Thinks we should do the heart surgery now." Tara explains blandly, eyeing Rose slightly. Gemma noticed and stepped in front of Rose a little more.
"That's good, right— that they're not waiting?" Luann asked.
"It's the best choice, yes." Tara answered.
"Thanks." Gemma said nodding.
"Can we talk?" Tara asked, looking at Gemma. Rose looked at her mom and she looked at Rose. She sighed loudly before walking away with Tara.
