MAYA’S P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning from a very nice dream. I pulled back from Harry who smiled at me.

“Look who decided to wake up,” he smirked at me. He pulled me into a kiss and I smiled, running my hands through his hair before pulling away.

            “Mmm… what time is it?”

Harry looked at the clock on his night table, “Almost 8:30…”

I nodded and rolled out of bed, Harry looking up at me disappointed.

“I’ll be waiting downstairs, okay?” I stretched out while standing up and yawned.

Harry sighed and buried his face back into his pillow, not falling back asleep, but just doing it to make himself look annoyed.

“I love you,” I said turning my head. He turned his also and I saw one of his green eyes looking at me and a huge grin plastered on his face. I left him in bed and walked down to the main floor where I instantly smelled something delicious cooking in the kitchen. I smiled as I walked in.

“Good morning beautiful,” Anne said happily as I walked into the kitchen.

“Good morning,” I replied. I think they both noticed me wearing Harry’s t-shirt, but it really wasn’t anything new for me. I wore Harry’s t-shirts all the time. They didn’t say anything about it and I walked to the fridge to find myself some orange juice.

“How’d you sleep last night?” I asked the two of them.

“Really well, that bed is really comfortable,” Anne answered, stirring the scrambled eggs she’d started on the stove.

“That’s good,” I said, “I think it’s the first time anyone has ever stayed over and slept in that room.”

Anne nodded and Gemma looked at me, “How did you sleep, Maya?”

I looked at her confused, “I slept just fine…”

She smiled cheekily, revealing the same dimples as Harry, “That’s great.”

I looked to her mother, confused as to why she was so smiley, but Anne was smiling too. This whole family had dimples. I felt so left out.

“What?” I asked looking at the two of them.

“It’s nothing love,” Anne said, walking behind me to get the butter out of the fridge.

“Is…?” I started, still wondering why they were being so secretive. I looked down at Harry’s t-shirt I was wearing, but they just continued making breakfast.

“Have some coffee, Maya,” Gemma offered, handing me a mug from the cabinet, as if she’d lived here her entire life.

“Okay,” I said, grabbing my coffeepot and pouring myself some coffee. I found the milk already on the counter and I put just enough in my mug to my liking. I went into the cabinet behind me and found the sugar. I took a couple teaspoons and stirred my coffee, listening to the short clinks the spoon made against the mug.
