Wesley's POV

We all had a great Christmas, but now it was time to really focus in on our audition. Tomorrow is the huge day, so today is our last chance to make sure everything is absolutely perfected. We're pretty confident in ourselves, and I hope the nerves don't change that tomorrow. We're down in the basement going over last minute details. Cameron's listening in because she loves listening to us.

"Alright boys, one more time, and I think I'm going to be sick of this song," I sighed after the second time we ran through Sunset Boulevard that day.

"Me too. Guys, I think we're fine. It's our own song, so they'll never even know if we mess it up. We know it by heart. We've got this," Keaton said. We all agreed and started packing up our stuff. We weren't going to be playing for our audition, so we didn't need anything but the track we recorded tomorrow.

"You guys are going to be amazing. You've worked so hard for this, and if the judges can't see the talent you guys possess, screw them," Cameron joked.

"I wouldn't mind screwing Demi," Drew smirked jokingly, hip thrusting the air.

"You're a pig," Cameron scoffed.

"Oh, and you haven't let Wesley screw you? I've heard about your little episode at Chri-" she cut him off.

"Shut up! Thanks, Wesley! I'm glad you like to exploit me to the whole fucking world," she gasped sarcastically.

"Hey, I was just bragging to the unfortunate girlfriend-less guys in the band," I winked, nudging her in the side. She rolled her eyes.

"Even Keaton knows," she asked in a whisper.

"Hey, I didn't ask to know! I'd rather not think of you like that," Keaton butted in, hearing her soft whisper. Her face turned a shade of red, and she slapped me on the arm. We joked around with her for a little bit until we decided it was enough. We all ended up upstairs in the living room. Cameron was laying on my lap, and Keaton and Drew were in the chairs on opposite sides of the couch.

"I'm seriously so proud of you guys. You're auditioning for the xFactor tomorrow," Cameron said, "Wesley, what if you find a prettier girl than me after everyone sees how hot and talented you are," she chuckled, but looked at me with her eyes wide.

"That will literally never happen. No one has your personality, and that's why I love you. Your looks are just the icing on the cake," I smiled at her, squeezing her butt when I said cake.

"Oh, sure," she giggled. My mom was making us all a big dinner tonight just to wish us luck for tomorrow. She is obviously coming along to watch, along with our dad, sisters, and Cameron of course. We're taking multiple vehicles, so Cameron and I are riding with my sisters. She's only met them the few times she's been to Sequim, so it might be a quiet car ride.

"Hey, guys! Dinner is ready," Laraine Hillary's from the kitchen. We all got up and went to the kitchen table and sat around it. My sisters were staying with us tonight, so they're here too. We passed around all of the food and dug in.

"All of this is amazing, Mom," Brooke announced. It really was. My mom's the best cook in the entire world.

"Maybe tomorrow we'll be having a celebratory dinner," she chuckled.

"Let's not jinx it now," Drew said defensively. He really believes in all that stuff. We finished eating and Cameron started to help my mom clean the dishes. She always loves to help my mom. She was standing at the sink, and I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. I placed my head on her shoulders, so my lips were against her ear.

"You're extremely gorgeous, and I love you," I whispered to her. She leaned her head up against mine and gave me a half kiss. "That's the best you can do?" I asked as she was scrubbing a plate in the soapy water.

"You know what, you're right, I can do better," she giggled as she smeared bubbles on my cheek. "Is that better?" I picked her up from behind as she kicked her legs and screamed. I tripped over a chair at the table and fell with her landing on top of me. "You should stop working out, so I could've had more cushion," she giggled as I groaned. She turned around, so her waist was connected to mine and put her lips close to mine. "I love you, too, by the way," she smiled softly and connected our lips. She pulled away and got up. She held her hand out for me and did nothing but tug my arm to help me get up. Once I was up, she continued doing dishes like nothing had happened. When she was done, she joined me up in my room.

"Wanna go take a walk on the beach?" I questioned, staring at the ceiling after she jumped on my bed beside me.

"Yeah! You need to clear your head for tomorrow," she asked sincerely. I looked over at her and nodded as she was staring at me already. "Do you want to go alone?"

"Actually, let's go to our rock," I insisted. We went down and hopped in my car to drive to the trail. We walked hand in hand up the trail and to our rock. We sat crisscross on the rock, facing the beautiful scenery of nature that made us love our spot so much.

"Just talk out all your nerves, babe. I don't even have to respond. I'll just listen," Cam spoke up. I took a deep breath and started talking.

"We've worked so hard for our music, and I just don't want to fail in front of so many people. I know what we're capable of, but what if everyone around us has been hyping us up too much, and we're not really good? I'm just scared to fail," I sighed. She grabbed my hand and rubbed the back of my palm. "You can talk. It's weird with you being silent," I chuckled.

"Failing is a part of life, Wes. I know it's scary, but it makes us stronger. I know what you're capable of too, and it's quite amazing to be honest. You're so incredibly talented, and I believe in you so much," she responded. I smiled at her and suddenly felt a little less nervous. Just hearing the words that she believes in me gave me that much more confidence. She scooted closer to me and pecked my lips. Tomorrow can't come soon enough.
