Wesley's POV

Keaton and I went back to school on Monday, and it was weird how many people talked to us now. So many girls I had never talked to were trying to flirt with me and congratulate me. Cameron loved it about as much as I did. I couldn't blame her for getting mad, though it wasn't entirely my fault. We had barely made it into the school Monday morning, and people were already talking to me left and right.

"Hey, Wes! I saw you guys got past the judges on xFactor! So sick, bro," a guy from the football team congratulated.

"Thanks, man! It means a lot," I nodded, smiling as I kept walking. Cameron had become super clingy to me lately, not that that was a bad thing. I loved it, actually. She wanted people to know that I was hers, and it was cute. She held my hand on the way to Kellerman's class, speed walking, so no one would try to talk to me anymore.

"Woah, slow down there, babe," I chuckled, pulling her arm back. She stopped in her tracks and turned around, making me run into her. I chuckled and backed away a little bit. I leaned up against the lockers beside us and brushed some hair out of her face as she looked up at me. "You're mine, and I'm yours, okay? I know things are weird right now, but they'll die out, and we'll go back to being the losers that we always have been," I grinned, making her laugh and roll her eyes.

"You were never a loser," she giggled.

"Oh whatever! Why do you think you were my only friend?" I asked, making her gasp. "I'm kidding! We weren't losers, but people never noticed us like this," I told her.

"I know. It's so weird," she sighed. "I'm proud of you, though, and I'm going to have to get used to everyone loving my boyfriend. For Christ's sake, even Demi Lovato wanted you," she said jokingly.

"Well I'd pick you over Demi Lovato any day," I grinned, grabbing her hand and leading her to Kellerman's.

"I don't think I could let you pick me over Demi," she chuckled. I rolled my eyes, and we took our seats in government. We listened to Kellerman's boring lecture and took our notes. As class was coming to an end, Kellerman walked up to my desk.

"I heard about your success on that music show, Wesley. Congratulations. I suppose you'll be missing a lot of my class in the future?" Kellerman asked.

"Thanks, Mr. Kellerman! I'm not sure what the plans are coming up, but as soon as I do, I'll let you know. They haven't really given anymore information on what's next yet," I informed. We knew what was coming, but they didn't give the dates of anything. We finally made it to lunch, and some freshmen girls came up to our table. Things still weren't died down yet.

"Hey, Wes! You did great on your audition," one giggled. I glanced at Cam, who was eyeing them down.

"Thanks," I stated, nodding a little, "Keaton did great, too," I added, motioning to him across the table. Callie glared at me and wrapped her arm around his.

"Yes, my amazing boyfriend did fantastic," she stated loud enough for them to clearly hear that he was taken. They smiled and walked away soon enough. I turned back to Cameron and put my hand on her leg.

"I'm sorry, babe. I know you don't like the attention I'm getting," I sighed, rubbing my hand up and down.

"It's okay! I know you love me," she cutely smiled. "I'm a supportive girlfriend, and like I said earlier, I know I'm going to have to get used to it. This is only the beginning for you guys," she winked. We finished eating and had to finish our afternoon classes. The afternoon always goes pretty fast, so I met Cam in the parking lot in no time.

"Wanna go grab some coffee?" She asked when I reached her car.

"Yeah. I don't have anything else to do," I told her. She drove to a cafe in Huntington Beach. It was like a Starbucks, but it was way better. We got our coffee and some muffins and sat down.

"So, has anyone asked what you think about all of this new fame?" Cameron asked me, taking a sip of her coffee.

"What do I think? It's weird. I love that people heard our music, but I don't know how I feel about everyone noticing me yet. It's just really surreal right now. Can you imagine if we make it far in the competition?"

"You know you will! Everyone loves you guys already. I have so much faith in you guys, and not just because you're my boyfriend, but because you're incredibly talented."

"I really love you," I smiled.

"And I love you," she returned my smile. We talked some more and finished our coffee and food. We decided to head back to my house when we were done. She pulled into my driveway and unlocked the door for me.

"You're not staying?" I asked her confusingly.

"I didn't know you wanted me to," she giggled. She shut the ignition off and followed me inside. We went upstairs, and I plopped down on my bed and sighed. "What's wrong?" Cam asked me.

"Nothing. I'm just tired," I answered, yawning.

"Honestly, me too," she chuckled, jumping beside me. She snuggled into my side and looked up at me. She smiled and fluttered her eyes closed while sighing. "I love you," she mumbled.

"I love you, babe. Let's take a nap," I chuckled, shutting my eyes as well. We both drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
