Catrina's POV.
Today everyone was going to Hogsmeade. I decided this morning that I didn't want to go. I was going to try out the broom Dumbledore gave me, so that I could possibly try out for the Quidditch team was soon. I mean, if I wasn't going to leave this school until after I graduate, might as well do something fun, right?
Harry wasn't going to Hogsmeade either, he was going to talk to Professor Lupin, I still don't trust Lupin. No matter what his fates say. I grabbed the broom and went by the lake. I sat for a few seconds by the lake. Whenever I am near water I feel close to my dad. I moved my hand across the water, I took a deep breath and closed my eyes for a moment, taking in my scenery. I opened my eyes and grabbed the Firebolt, and then I stood up.
"I'm definitely crazy." I said to myself, mounting the broom for the first time. Then, as if I had done this before, I flew on the broom, fast. I felt like I was going to crash into things but when I got close i dodged everything. It came to the point where I was just hovering in the air. It was relaxing, bird flying by. The giant squid had it's tentacles sticking out of the water. I was looking around, I saw something with the corner of my eye. A dog, a black dog. It was looking up at me, it looked like a dog the huntress would travel with, a hunting dog. I was probably wrong. I flew down to the dog. I leaned the broom up against a tree and looked at the dog which was stood ten feet from me.
"Hello little dog. I'm not going to hurt you." I said, the dog sat down and just looked at me. I went closer to him, I started petting his head when I approached him, he seemed to like it.
"You like that, don't you?" I said, I sat down in front of him, he looked at me again. The dog's eyes didn't look like dog eyes, it looked like human eyes. I sat down in front of him, my legs crossed.
"You're not a dog are you?" I asked him, he looked at me like I had just told his secret to the world.
"Don't worry you can trust me." I said to him, he did a little nod. After a few seconds, he sat down in front of me and then changed forms into a man. He looked familiar.
"I knew you weren't a dog, who are you?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows, he looked at me like I was crazy.
"You don't know who I am?" He asked.
"Nope, no idea. I think it may be the fact I haven't been in the wizarding world for a while." I said.
"I'm Sirius Black." He said.
"Oh that mass murderer?" I asked, nonchalant.
"Yeah, you seem really calm about that." He said, I laughed.
"I've fought a Minotaur multiple times, Cerberus, Furies, I've even fought Medusa herself, a mass murderer doesn't scare me." I said. The expression on his face showed me that he definitely thought I was crazy.
"Furies? Isn't that what works for that god.. I forget his name. I learned about the gods when I was in school. I don't really believe that they are real though, I mean come on who can believe that?" He asked, there was thunder. Zeus was mad at that.
"Hades, the furies work for Hades. God of the underworld, and for your information, Sirius Black, the gods are very much real." I said, I had a little anger in my voice.
"What makes you so sure about that?" He asked me, I looked at him with an offended look on my face
"What makes me so sure? Well, the fact that my father is god of the sea, Poseidon to be exact." I said, in that moment there was more thunder. I stood.
"You are making Zeus mad, don't ever talk like that. The gods are real, if you don't think so, then whatever, but just because of the fact that you think the gods aren't real, offends me." I said, he laughed.
