Catrina's POV.

Today was Christmas Eve, meaning that today the Yule Ball was going to take place. I was still going with Fred just as I promised him. Plus I had to dance with someone, and I preferred dancing with someone I knew, and someone who understood my oath, which Fred was both of these things.

I was already not happy with the fact that I had to wear a dress, but Hermione insisted I wear makeup as well. No matter how much I tried convincing her that I would look fine without makeup, she still continued to insist, and after a while I gave in.

A small part of me liked the finished look. She knew a spell that covered my scars as well, and with all honesty, I completely forgot what I looked like without scars all over. I was thankful for this tonight.

Since I didn't know my dress size, nor what to look for when buying a dress, Hermione and I went to Hogsmeade together during the last trip and she helped me pick out the best fit, and nicest design, given the fact that I had quite a bit of money, I paid for it without any issues. We ended up picking out a green dress which its colour matches my eyes.

Many years ago, I was asked by Lady Artemis to capture a man who was causing trouble with a town of Mortals. I did just that and I brought him to proper authorities, who gave me about $1000 of bounty money. This was about 200 years ago. So over time I managed to make a large sum of money in this time.

The Yule ball was going to start fairly soon, and Fred wanted to meet me in the common room. Hermione and our other roommates were already gone, off doing their own things and meeting up with their dates. Fred wasn't going to be in the Common Room for another half hour, so I was ready to sit here for that time.

As I sat down on my bed, I sensed something new in the room that wasn't there a moment before. I stood back up quickly and summoned a sword that I had as a charm on my bracelet. I turned and saw that it was just Apollo

"Apollo, you startled me." I said. I made my sword go back to it's magic form.

"Sorry, I just wanted to see you in a dress. You look absolutely stunning, by the way, and your scars they're gone." He said.

"Please leave." I sighed.

"You know, the colour of your dress brings out the colour of your eyes... You look absolutely beautiful." Apollo said grabbing my hands, I smiled slightly.

"Thank you.. I guess." I said. Me and Apollo talked for that time. I must say, Apollo was really growing on me. Though the time finally came to when I had to meet Fred in the Common Room, so Apollo and I said our goodbyes and he left. Next time I was going to see him was gonna be during Christmas Holiday. I'm going back to Olympus for the few weeks. I walked down the stairs, I saw Fred waiting there. The moment he saw me, his face lit up.

"You look amazing." Fred said, I smiled.

"Thanks, you don't look bad yourself." I said. We then went to the Great Hall where the Yule Ball was being held.

...

The first little part of the Yule Ball was finally over. Meaning we would be having the first dance soon and I could get that part over with.

"You ready to make a fool of ourselves in front of the whole school?" Fred asked, I let out a laugh.

"I kill monsters for a living, this is a walk in the park compared to that." I said. I smiled through it, but if I was honest I was quite nervous. In the thousand years that I have been a Hunter of Artemis, I've only ever done things in front of the other Hunters; people I was comfortable and used to being around. But right now, I am in a room of people who I barely know, if at all.
