Catrina's POV.

*FLASHBACK*

"Lady Artemis, why must I leave you? I only just joined you, I wish to fight alongside you." I said.

"And you will, in time." Artemis said. I looked around. Godric was looking at me, pain in his eyes. I looked at the other Hunters, they stood, tensed, ready to fight if they needed, but relaxed at the same time. Then I looked at my biological father, Poseidon. He had curiosity in his eyes. I looked back at Artemis.

"I have taken the oath, shouldn't I travel and train with you? And my new sisters?" I asked.

"I wish this would be so, but your father and I had orders from the King of the gods. My father, Zeus." Artemis said. "He told us that once we learned where you came from, and how, we were to train you. First with your father, then with each of the Olympians. It has never happened, a Demi-god being born a witch like you have, not this type of witch at least."

"Yes, the magic you have which you share with the rest of the students and teachers within that school is different. More ancient than the magic seen in the magical beings and immortals within our stories, which you call 'Greek Mythology,' " Poseidon said. "The type of magic you wield is a type that only Mortals have been known to wield. To have a Demi-god wield Mortal magic, as well as immortal power, we fear that if you are not trained properly, you can cause destruction to all. Mortal and Immortal alike."

"Yes, well said." Artemis said. "You will train with me, in time. But first the gods of Olympus must train you to control your abilities and better understand you, in hopes that if another is born after you, we can understand them too."

I let out a breath. "Okay." I said. "I will have plenty of time with you Lady Artemis. If I must train with the other gods first, I will do so."

"I will see you again, for now, you must go with your father to his kingdom. You will learn your birthright first." Artemis said. I furrowed my eyebrows in a frown, but I nodded. "Now come along my Hunters. We must continue our journey."

They said their goodbye to us, and they were off and into the forest. I looked between the two men who I knew as my fathers. My biological father, and my adoptive one. I turned to Godric.

"Papa." I said.

"Yes, sweet girl?"  Godric asked. He still looked as sad as he did moments ago. I ran to him and I hugged him. He hugged me back, just as tight as he does to make me feel safe and secure. I always felt safe in his arms. "I will not forget you, my child. I just ask you to never forget me, however long you live, never forget me."

"This is not goodbye, Papa." I said. "I will come back one day."

"Maybe so, but there will come a day where I am gone from this world, but you will live on. You must promise me that you will never forget me. What I have taught you." He said.

"I promise, Papa." I said. He pulled away from the hug. He took a step back.

"Now you must go on. Follow your destiny, and be brave, my sweet girl." He said, smiling down at me, I smiled back.

"Always." I said. With that he nodded to me. I turned around and saw that Poseidon was still standing there. He was waiting.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, then I nodded. "Now, come along then. It is quite the trip to my kingdom." He motioned toward the Black Lake.

"I cannot swim." I said. He chuckled.

"All of my children can swim." He said. "The water is where you belong. There is much for you to learn, you will see."
