Chapter 10 - Sirius Black

Catrina's POV.

Today, Buckbeak was going to be executed. Harry, Ron and Hermione went to Hagrids earlier. I was going to go there now. I would have gone with them earlier, but I wanted to practice my archery and sword fighting. The classes with the students over the past few months has gone well, surprisingly. I had to kick Draco out, he was furious and threatened that he would tell his father, and I wouldn't be surprised if he did. I saw Harry, Ron and Hermione. Ron was chasing after something. But then Sirius Black, in his animagus form, came and grabbed Ron by his leg and dragged him into the Whomping Willow, I ran to Harry and Hermione. 

"You guys saw that too, right?" I asked, they both nodded. We ran for the tree, dodging the branches which were trying to hit us, it came to the point where I pulled out my dagger and stabbed the trees root. I had the sleeping potion on it so the tree is gonna be asleep for a little but since it's a tree it will only be like ten minutes.

"Come on lets go." I said, I put my dagger back in its pouch and went into the tree. We all walked until we were in the Shrieking Shack.

"We're in the shrieking shack, aren't we?" Hermione asked.

"Yup, looks like it, now, we better look for Ron." I said, I went up a set of stairs, Harry and Hermione followed. I found a door which was opened slightly and we walked in.

"Ron, you're okay!" Hermione said excited.

"He's the dog! He's and animagus! It's a trap Harry!" Ron yelled pointing to behind the door. I pulled out my sword and looked, it was Sirius. I put on a little smirk so he knew I was doing this for show.

"If you want to kill Harry, you'll have to go through us first." Hermione said.

"No, only one will die tonight." Sirius said.

"Then it'll be you!" Harry yelled.

"Harry! No!" Hermione yelled at Harry.

"Going to kill me Harry?" Sirius asked.

"Yes!" Harry yelled, then Lupin came in and shot a spell at Harry making his wand fly out of his hand. I put away my sword.

"Looking a bit ragged, aren't we, Sirius? Finally the skin reflects the madness within. " Lupin said.

"You know all about the madness within, wouldn't you, Remus?" Sirius asked.

"No! I trusted you! I covered up for you. And all this time you've been his friend! He's a werewolf! That's why he's been missing classes! And Catrina knew, that's how she got those scars, he attacked her!" Hermione yelled.

"Well yeah that's how I got these scars, but by getting him out of the school so he wouldn't attack no one. He attacked me, yeah. But he didn't know what he was doing." I said.

"How long have you known?" Lupin asked.

"Since Snape set out the essay." Hermione said.

"You truly are the brightest witch of your age that I have ever met." Lupin said.

"Enough talk Remus, let's kill him." Sirius said.

"Wait." Lupin said.

"I DID MY WAITING, TWELVE YEARS OF IT IN AZKABAN!" Sirius yelled, I was startled by his sudden yelling.

"Very well, kill him. But wait one more minute, Harry has the right to know why." Remus said.

"I know why. You betrayed my parents. You're the reason they're dead!" Harry yelled the last part.

"No, it wasn't him." I said, they all looked at me.

"Somebody did betray your parents... Somebody, until quite recently, I believed to be dead." Remus said.
